Overall Opinion:

I own the first version of Sigma’s Premium Professional Kit, and I have to say that these brushes are way better, even though I really do like the quality of the previous ones too.
This is a great set to take with you, if you don’t need dozens of brushes. This set has all you need.
I can’t really say much about the face brushes, since I really don’t use them on myself, but the small eyeliner brush is a must-have. It’s super tiny, you can create beautiful thin lines with it. I also love the short shader, which makes applying color to lower lid super easy. It’s quite sturdy, so you can get a really precise result with it.
I don’t own a single MAC brush, so I can’t compare these to MAC, but I do know that these really work well!

I recommend this to anyone who wants a great set of good quality brushes that are easy to take with you anywhere.

( And as a sweet plus, this kit is available in four different colors;  Baby Pink, Hot Pink, Black and Silver! )

I recently purchased 2 Sigma brushes (e20 & e40) and I LOVE’EM! Thanks for the review of the travel kit…looks like I’m off to order more Sigma brushes =)

The brushes seem like they would be decent quality. My only wish is that the eye brushes had a flat stiff brush for patting color on, not the huge eye brush it comes with!

Thank you for the review! :)

Thanks for the review. These brushes look like they are great quality, and comparable with my mac ones. Loving the roll up bag to keep them in :)

I am a cosmetologist, and I mainly stick to hair and eyelash extensions, I really love your videos and think you are a total rockstar! lol I wanted to purchase some of the make-up that you are using, just wondering where I can use my professional license to purchase some of it!

I have the complete kit with 12 brushes, but being me, I really want more brushes (like the ones in the premium kit).

Since these are basically the ones I want from the premium kit, I think I may as well get this, even if they are travel-size.

I just bought a set, SHANY Pro brushes, for a hot steal on Amazon. :) This review totally put some more of the Sigma brushes on my list!! (Especially the large concealer brush..that sounds fab). ;)

I purchased the same set myself, but in pink. I guess I was really hyped up by all the positive reviews, but have been left slightly disappointed by one brush in particular in the kit. I think they may have different brushes for the different kits because mine came with an angled contour blush brush but with WHITE bristles.

I have been using it for contouring and it’s left my brush permanantly tinged a slight reddish-brown colour that will not come out. Also the bristles were very fly-away (sticking out all over the place) and doesn’t want to be reshaped. I emailed Sigma and they just seemed very nonchalant about it. Meh. I just didn’t receive this ‘incredible customer service’ that everyone has been hyping about.

I think that you don’t have the same brush set that she describes! You have the regular travel kit, not the premium one!
Do you still have the brush guard that was with this brush? It can help to reshape it! And I do have this brush but in the normal size, and that’s right that it is difficult to have it perfectly clean with a regular bursh cleanser, but if you wash it with a baby shampoo or a soap, it does get away, no?
I hope that you’ll still enjoy those brushes, and hope you had a merry Christmas!

Just went on the website and checked, they’ve changed their brushes since I purchased them earlier this year.

I forgot to mention that the magnet on the clasp of the bag has shifted and now it no longer closes….just kind of flaps around in my overnight bag….
