This is an exact dupe for Maybelline Color Tattoo in Improper Copper. Like exactly.
This is a deep bronze color. I mixed it with the FaceAtelier transforming gel to make a beautiful eyeliner for soft pink eyeshadow. I love the color and am looking forward to wearing it alone as well.
I Wish I Loved This
I am a huge MUG fan and have like 30 shadows and 3 pigments..... so I hate the leave a bad review. This color is beautiful when swatched and first applied. Like another reviewer mentioned though, the color changes and darkens drastically with pressure. With this in mind, I applied it VERY carefully and the color stay trued. Then... because you have to blend blend blend... I CAREFULLY blended, very light handed... and the color turned sooo very dark and looked almost brown/blue. So I would not repurchase this. I may try it as like a liner or something.
I have a bunch of eyeshadows and pigments and just ordered more! This one pigment in particular, is one of my fav's though. I LOVE this color when im doing a chocolate brown smokey eye. Thanks to Jaclyn hill for introducing me to makeupgeek products!
This color is a beautiful reddish copper color, and it goes on sooo smooth. I advise patting it on, rather than sweeping it on ... sweeping leads to fallout. Also, sweeping seems to lead to creasing while patting it on doesn't. Could just be my weirdo lids though. LOL.
Darker Version Of Vegas Lights
This is a great medium/dark brown/red color, this looks great alone or with darker colors. This is a color that will look great on anyone no matter what color skin you have, light to dark.
I LOVE this color. I have 6 MAC pigments and this definitely puts all of them to shame. WHY did I ever spend $20 for a MAC pigment? Its because I didn't know about MUG!!! NEVER again! My only complaint about this pigment is that when I swipe (with either my finger or a flat brush) it deepens the color and almost has a dark gray or black tint. The first time I used it I thought my brush was dirty with black eye shadow, and after several uses I realized the pigment changes color with pressure from a brush/finger. So if you want the color to stay true, you have to tap it on rather than swiping which makes it harder to get it to stick to your eye. Still, its soooo beautiful on my green eyes.
