Poor quality brushes. Itchy, scratchy and does not deposit color well. I bought 3 eye brushes and they were all disappointing.

Note from Customer Service: Thanks for your feedback! We will be in contact to help look into the issue and take care of you :)

How have I lived without this brush for so long?! I can actually get a nice outer V now! It\'s also great for smudging pencil eyeliner, because I have a bad habit of going a bit overboard there. I did wash it first, so I don\'t find it scratchy at all, and just stiff enough to do the job.

I absolutely love this brush. Make sure you give it a good wash/condition before the first use, it will make a huge difference. I find this brush very versatile and use it every day. It's great for applying shadow under the eye, also for the inner corner highlight and I also use this with concealer for little sun spots I want to cover. I'm buying more!! ❤️

I use this brush to apply gel eyeliner to the bottom and top lash line and even to do a fast tightline. It does a perfect job of applying liner and smudging it at the same time so the liner is not a harsh line like it would be with a regular eyeliner brush. I Love It !!

I bought this brush over a year ago on the recommendation of Jaclyn hill for blending underneath the eyes. I love cocoa bear or mocha underneath my blue eyes. I remember someone saying to wash it first or your eyes would be scratchy! But of course when it came in the mail I wanted to play, big mistake. Then I washed it and the next application was night and day difference. When blending you don't have to push too hard, and I find with the creaminess of so many of the MUG shadows really overrides the stiff texture. However I did buy mine a year ago, so perhaps there was an update.

This is THE BEST pencil brush I own! it is teeny tiny, which I LOVE. It is very stiff, but breaks in beautifully after a wash or two.

It is just a little to had and scratchy for my eyes. I keep trying to use it in hopes that I am just not using it right and that I will find a way to make it work. I always end up putting it down and grabing a softer one.

This brush is perfectly shaped but it is too harsh/scratchy for use on the eyes.

More precise than your average pencil brush. Because it's more pointy it can sometimes be a little harsh so I don't use this to blend out the lower lash line but it's perfect for precise application.

My biggest issue with pencil brushes are that they scratch my lower lash line! The eye area in general is so sensitive and delicate, and under the eye is even more so. The MAC 219 is just the worst. However, thankfully this MUG brush is wonderful, soft and perfectly sized!

Just I need to apply eyeshadow to my lower lid. Perfect size and a great price!

Seriously amazballs quality. I have been using and washing this brush for months and it is still in absolute perfect condition. It is perfect for applying inner corner highlights or for depositing those really dark shadows to the outer V. It has such a fine point it is also great at applying shadow under the lash line or smudging out liner. Any detailed work really this is a daily brush there is nothing else like it.

This is a true pencil brush! It has a really stiff but soft bristles that come to a very wonderful point. I have really small eyes and I do not like a lot of product underneath my eyes when I do decide to smudge eyeshadow or eyeliner under my lower lashline and this is going to be the perfect size. So wonderful and luxuriously soft!!!

This brush is of such great quality in every way possible. Need I say the price is actually reasonable compared to a million other brand names brushes out there, and these bristles are so precise. Anything larger wouldn't yield a simple cut crease or the dimension you get from a darker shade that is more difficult to apply. This makes it so simple to control the color that you want to use. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will continue to be a MUG customer for eyeshadows, brushes, and blush. Marlena is so wonderful!

I've recently run into a problem with pencil liners lately. I don't know if it's that I'm getting older or maybe it's just allergies. Or maybe the brand I was using was reformulated with a chemical I'm sensitive to, but every time I've used a pencil liner in the past 2 years or so, my eyelids would swell up from sties on my upper waterlines, left and right eye, but usually not at the same time. They would swell up so bad that my eyes would almost swell shut. Not only is that awful to look at, it's even worse experiencing it; Very very uncomfortable. Then, to top all that off, after the swellings had gone down my lids look much older; they used to be firm and what my MUA friend calls "good lids." When I narrowed it down to, yes, it's my eyeliner causing this problem, I thought I was gonna have to put makeup away forever. This made me sad, of course. I'm only 34. And makeup is fun! I didn't wanna give it up. So when I happened upon this pencil brush I had to buy it. I can't do my eye makeup without this little guy now. It's opened up a whole new world of eyelining for me (I know, sounds silly, but my exposure to makeup has always been drugstore, so I don't have a lot of experience with higher end makeup or brushes. I didn't even know a pencil brush for eyes existed until I found Marlena's brush video on YouTube).
\nAnyway, this brush has kept makeup fun for me. I use my little pencil brush for applying darker shadows to upper and lower lash line. I especially like MUG's Mocha and MAC's Indian Ink for lining with this brush. (Corrupt would be another good color to line with, but I find it too harsh for the looks I like on my eyes; I like to keep things soft and not overly dramatic. If you like dramatic looks or can pull it off better than I can, go for it!) It's not scratchy, it doesn't pull my now-wrinkly lids the way a pencil would. The body of the brush isn't too long or too short; it's got enough stiffness to do the job without being harsh, scratchy or irritating. So glad I found it... and at a fair price. I would order more right now if they were in stock. I'm waiting patiently :)

The head is not as full as the Sigma or MAC Pencil, but the smaller head size makes it a much better precision work on lash lines. It's best feature is it is not scratchy at all, but is still perfectly stiff. The price is fantastic for the quality. Will be purchasing another as soon as its in stock again.

I love, love, love this brush. Most pencil brushes are to long and stiff. I have really long eyelashes and it's hard to get to my lower lashline. Not any more! This brush is the perfect length. Not to mention it's nice and soft but dense. I was just getting ready to buy more but there sold out :( Can't wait until there back in stock!

I'm a makeup addict. I'm always on the hunt for the perfect brush and I think I just found it! I own a lot of pencil brushes and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush! Marlena, you did it! I just tried to buy another but they're sold out! I want to own a bunch of these! I'm so happy this brush was invented!

I needed a brush to smudge my pencil eyeliner and/or add shadow on top of the eyeliner for staying power on the upper lash line. This brush will do nicely for that task along with applying eyeshadow to the lower lash line or even precise filling in of the eyebrows.
