Winter Nights

Winter is officially here and today I wanted to do a look inspired by this enchanting time of year. Using icy, cool tones such as blues, purples and some sparkling glitter to represent freshly fallen snow, this stunning look comes together to create a winter wonderland for the eyes that is sure to get you into the mood for the season. This look is ideal for those upcoming holidays with loved ones, orĀ  better yet, curled up in front of a warm and cozy fire with that special someone. No matter where you choose to wear it, this cool look is sure to melt hearts everywhere.

What a fabulous fun look Marlena, you really pull this off so well! It’s hard to imagine it’s Winter anywhere as it’s hot here in Melbourne Australia! Gorgeous gorgeous look that compliments your colouring so much, good job!

Thanks so much Charlotte! I hear you about the weather.. It was roasting outside when I taped this. I’ve been waiting so long for California to cool down!

Where do you get the glitter glue. I looked on Amazon, Ebay and LA Splash website. I love this look and can’t wait to hit the mall using it while Christmas shopping.

Ooooo, I love it! Unfortunately, NXY pencils crease really easily on my hooded eyes. Marlena, do you have any other suggestions on how to get the white part “white” enough with shadows only???

NYX has a couple of white powder shadows. Makeup Forever and MAC have nice white matte shadows, too. Urban Decay also has a white shimmer shadow.

Great video Marlena … this winter look looks great on you!!! i hope it looks the same on me ;) jk lol
Would this makeup have the same winter/dewy effect if you had a different eyeliner and different blush???
I’m huge fan of makeup geek and keep making your absolutely amazing videos!!

I love this look! I’m actually doing this look for my couples Christmas pictures this weekend! I’m really excited.

Also, I’m fairly light skinned, so a lot of blushes make me look a bit dramatic, what would be a good color for the dewy look?

I love your videos! They have taught me a lot!
