The Finished Look

  • Rimmel Wake Me up Foundation (eBay)
  • Manhattan Cosmetics Loose Powder (Manhattan Cosmetics)
  • Sephora Hydrating Powder Blush – Healthy Rose (Amazon) (Sephora)
  • Revlon Bare It All – Highlight
  • Maybelline Pure Mineral Cover Concealer (Amazon) (eBay)

Get the Look:

Step 1: First with a small dome brush, like the Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush,  apply Shimma Shimma to the inner corner of the eye, dragging it upwards into the crease. This helps to brighten the lid, open the eye, and make the eye seem bigger.

Step 2: With a flat, stiff brush like the Makeup Geek Stiff Dome Brush  to pack on the color. Cover the center of the eyelid with Purely Naked and blend out any harsh lines with fluffy dome brush.

Step 3: Using a small crease brush like Makeup Geek’s Small Crease Brush, accentuate your crease with a touch of Sea Mist and blend it upwards going just above the natural crease.

Step 4: Then, with a small dome shaped brush like the Makeup Geek Outer V Brush, apply the vivid color Poolside to the outer v section of the eye. Remember not to blend the lines between Sea Mist and Poolside.

Step 5: With a pencil brush or the Makeup Geek Chisel Shader Brush, add a touch of Corrupt to darken the crease ever so slightly. The chisel brush will give you a more defined cut crease look.

Step 6: Now it’s time for that pop of intensity! Apply Razzleberry to the outer corner of the lower lashline coming in 3/4 of the way.

Step 7: Now add the Mandarine where the Razzleberry ended and bring in the rest of the way. Make sure you blend the lines where the Razzleberry and Mandarine meet.

Step 8: To soften it a bit, use your small crease brush or the Makeup Geek Detail Eyeshadow Brush and feather it out with Glamorous.

Step 9: Line the lash line with gel liner creating a winged out effect for extra drama. For a great alternative to the gel liner, use a mixing medium or a drop of contact solution with Makeup Geek’s Corrupt.

Step 10: Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara and you’re done!

There you have it, the perfect summer look, and a great way to add color to your wardrobe. For your blue or green eyed babes, don’t pass this stunning look up. With so many colors to choose from you can mix and match any shade you desire to create your very own personalized look!

Erm….she does. A large majority are in Polish because, hey, she’s Polish, but she’s made a bunch that are in English too.

Yes!!!! I was wondering the same…mine are very sparce and light for my almost black hair color. Would love to know the brand AND color u used. THANKS!!!

you can see the colour used listed in the products section ;) it was inglot’s 329M.

I got them to look this way by trial and error ;) I took me A LOT of time to come to this stage when I’m proud of how they look.

Hm… i think red tones underneath the eyes make a woman look like she’d just been crying her heart out…

I really do like makeupgeek- but its getting kind of annoying when you never give any other options to the eye shadows like you used to. (i.e. giving the mac names of shadows, then cheaper alternatives such as NYX) I can’t help but think this is happening now because MUG has their own (amazing!) products now. Just would like some alternatives, that’s all :)
keep up the good work!

I’m going to a big party tonight…. and now i have an awesome look to try!!
It’s gorgeous, thanks for sharing!!

I love it especially the way you hv gave the dramatic touch of the winged eyeliner…I wish I could knw how to do it …. good job <3 :))

Actually, I really love your brows! How did you do that? I have a similar shape and thickness, and am always trying to achieve that neat and not obviously drawn-in look. What products did you use, and how did you do it?
