Review & swatches: Urbanglow Cream Highlight Sin

What is it?

A weightless, silky cream highlighter that adds luminescence to the cheeks, temples or brow bone.

They Describe it as:

Our silky cream highlighter gives you the power to guide their eyes to all the right places. Packed with pearl powders, the weightless formula adds luminescence wherever you need it: Craft contours where there were none.

The non-greasy formula dries down instantly, and can be worn right on top of makeup. Each shade is subtle enough to work on any skin tone – just pick the effect you desire… a bit of iridescent innocence, or a touch of smoldering bronze. All are infinitely wearable and ridiculously flattering (kind of like you’re standing by candlelight). Formulated without Parabens and packed with coconut oil and vitamins A, C and E that smooth, moisturize, and protect the skin.

Overall Opinion:

Again, I love this product.

Like I said in my Benefit Girl Meets Pearl review, I’ve never been a fan of liquid (or creme) highlighters, but again this was a huge suprise.

It blends really nicely, dries up fast (not too fast) and gives insanely pretty glow, just like it says on their website: “kind of like you’re standing by candlelight”.
That’s quite exactly what it looks like to me.

It’s available in four different shades:

  • Sin: shimmering champagne
  • Brown Sugar: warm taupey brown
  • Moonshine: iridescent shimmer
  • Wicked: radiant pinky shimmer

This one will definitely be with me if I do looks for others, as well is in my personal makeup bag too!

Fantastic review Kata! This looks gorgeous on the skin! I think I need to get some now as I’m trying to use more creamy blushes and highlighters since my skin is dry…

I love the way this looks! Glowing but not shiny/greasy. I normally use Benefit High Beam for highlighting, but I might have to give this a try.

This complements your skin tone beautifully. I’ve tried out the tester compact at my local Ulta and it looks great on me too, as we have similar skin tones. I’ve been wanting a highlighter, and this one in particular, so thanks for convincing me to buy this A.S.A.P :)

It is pretty. highlighter was the last makeup splurge I went on, it seemed that the reviews werent enough for me and I was obsessed with finding the right highlighter for daylight. What I had in mind was something with a pearlescence as opposed to glitter or shimmer. Also, in powder form, beacause Im not good at working with cream formulas. SOOO, I settled after buying 4 different ones. My big splurge was on TOO FACED CANDLELIGHT. It was about $30, very low gleam, pearly faint gold, nice but I gave it a B because it was a little light for my medium light skincolor. Next,I bought the Revlon Mineral Finishing powder in BRIGHTEN. OMG. A++. exactly what I was looking for and the price at Ulta was $12.99. A beautiful, buildable, sheen. All you need is a very light swipe with a powder brush, and I havent been this excited since I 1st tried FIX+. Anyway I also purchased NYC Color Wheel in Starburst for $5, and its exceedingly good for the price but not what I had in mind for daytime. The last one was from Physicians Formula but I wont even mention because I bought on clearance for about $4, discontinued. The only one I didnt get to try was the MAC Skinfinish, which was what was originally !st on my list, but Im done and happy. If I come across this one you reviewed Ill try it, and thank you for doing this in time for my own search for the perfect highlighter!

i jus ordered it (sin) bt i use bare minerals foundation and wsnt sure if i can use it with mineral foundation …???
