Overall Opinion:

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who’s first thought was: “Oh no, not ANOTHER Zero pencil!”
Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but both BoS palettes I own had one, so now I have three Zero pencils(and I haven’t even hauled many UD products, I’m sure many people have way more than three!). Don’t get me wrong, Zero is a great pencil, it’s the only UD pencil I’ve tried that stays on my waterline, it has great staying-power and it’s applies soft and smooth, but why does it have to be in almost every set :P

But if we forget the pencil (which of course is great if you don’t own it already!) and focus on the shadows, this is kinda fun palette.
Personally I like dark and bright colors, I really don’t use pastels or shimmery nudes. Feminine palette has both bold colors and pastel-shimmery colors. As a bonus it has Ecstasy, which is a S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G shade when applied over black base (such as NYX jumbo pencil Black Bean, or the UD Zero pencil).
So this palette really is surprisingly versatile.

I love the colors they have picked for this palette, because it really creates an image of girly, feminine style¬† (and because I didn’t yet own 4 of 6 shadows, yay!).

Versatile palette that is great for creating both light pastel looks, as well as darker smokey looks. Because of the primer and black pencil this one is also great one to take with you to travel, although it’s missing white highlighter (SWF MAY work for someone, I wasn’t convinced ).

I’ve been looking at this palette online.
Trying to decide if I want to purchase it or not.
I think I might though.
It seems like the perfect travel palette.
Since it’s so versatile.
You can defos make a bunch of great looks with this.
And easily go from day to night.

And the two looks you did are BEAUTIFUL!!
I think I might try to dupe the second one.
If that’s ok with you??

OkOk……why didn’t u tell me about the zero pencil. You have two to many! I will take one of your hands=). Now do u know if you buy that Sephora is it more expensive?

no, its the same price everywhere. but i was at sephora this weekend and they didnt carry any of the 3 pallettes from this collection. ulta has them in stock though

Nice palette but Ecstasy is the only stand out shade, my wallet will be happy I’m passing on this one

Out of the three palettes (fun, dangerous, and romantic), I like this one best, because out of all my other UD palettes, there is only 1 repeat. However, I don’t like the really soft colors like Aquarius and swf, they just aren’t my style. I like that it comes with and eden PP rather than an original PP, the original PP’s seem to come with everything, and I perfer Eden over original. However, I think for the color theme of this palette I think Sin PP would have been better. I’m also tired of Zero, sure it’s black and everyone has to have a black eyeliner, But I think it would be better to include a color instead. I’m up to my eyeballs in zero pencils. I got a fullsize in the 15th anni set, one in the black palette, one in BOS III, one in the naked palette (although it is attached to whiskey). I’m now giving them away,”oh you’ve never tried UD eyeliner, here, take this and try it.”

that’s all just my personal opinion though, and really has no validity. All these products are great if they are colors you like, And I personally always like buying palettes over singles. It’s also nice to have a palette with colors that all work together with ease and many different combos, Other palettes usually come with a bunch of random colors that take a bit more guess work when it comes to using them together.

I absolutely love the pastel look you came up with! It would be great for spring. I think if I do buy one of the new palettes, it will be this one. The Aquarius color kind of scared me away from this palette at first, since it looked darker on the UD website, and I usually don’t wear blues, but the swatch here looks lovely. Thanks for the great ideas!

I really like this palette because I wanted Stray Dog, SWF, Aquarius and Eden Primer Potion, but I was a little annoyed that they included the Zero eye pencil and Midnight Cowboy. Those two products are in so many of their palettes. Since this is the feminine palette, couldn’t they have included a pretty brown or gray eye pencil, rather than black? I’m so tired of seeing Midnight Cowboy in palettes.

i have a question to ask you. I have small eyes and thick eyebrows oh and including a kinda dark area under my eyes. What to do and how also what to apply under my eyes because my eyes looks like if i havent slept.

I love extasy but i can pretty much dupe everything else. UD single e/s are so expensive! Is there a good dupe for extasy?

I absolutely LOVE that second look! I am most definitely going to try to re-create it with the colours I have.
Thank you so much for this!

Ah, *swoon*, I quite like the looks of this! And I know what you mean- why oh why always zero? 1999, Bourbon, or even Underground would have been better suited for the theme, plus, everyone and their mother doesn’t already own ten of them!

Dear Jangsara,

You did a lovely job with the review and clear, crisp photos/swatches are wonderful. I like the info you provided and the different looks you gave from the palett.

Nice job…I looked at three UD paletts in my nearby Ulta Store and was temped, but now I know I can wait a while for something better suited for my color needs.

Thanks you!

Great review :)

I love how you draw in blue the “zones” where you use each color! Very helpful…
