Welcome to the Idea Gallery Round-Up for March (see our previous roundups). We had so many amazing looks this past month, from timeless classics to vivid displays of color, nothing was overlooked. Each look was a spectacular display of creativity and technique. From simple to advanced, there is sure to be something in here for everyone. Regardless of what kind of look you are searching for you are sure to find something here.

Soft and sweet with a hint of poison, this look is perfect for adding a touch of boldness to your everyday look.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Cocoa Bear, Latte, Mocha, Peach Smoothie, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Poison and Immortal

Other Products: Makeup Geek Pigment in Sweet Dreams

  • Use a fluffy brush and blend Peach Smoothie into the crease blending upward.
  • Use a smaller dome brush and darken the crease with Cocoa Bear.
  • Define the crease using Latte, you are creating a soft gradient of shades from Latte to Peach Smoothie.
  • Use a flat, stiff brush and pat Sweet Dreams over the lower lid.
  • Line the upper lash line with Poison.
  • Starting at the middle of the eye, create a winged line over the Poison leaving the edge exposed.
  • Add a line of Poison under the wing of black on the outer edge extending the color past the black wing. Also add Poison to the inner corner of the eye bringing down under the inner 1/3.
  • Line the upper and lower waterline with Immortal smudging out any black under they eye coming in to meet the Poison.
  • Smudge Mocha over the edge of the black under the eye.
  • Add mascara, a set of lashes and your all done!

This hypnotic look is perfect for a day at the office, or anytime you want to leave those around your mesmerized.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Corrupt, Latte, Vanilla Bean, Makeup Geek Pigment in Afterglow, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Immortal

  • Sweep Latte in the crease blending upward slightly.
  • Wipe off your brush and use Vanilla Bean to feather out any harsh lines and under your brow.
  • Darken the outer 1/3 of the eye with Corrupt and bring slightly into the crease to darken it and smudge the same black under the eye coming in to where your lashes begin.
  • Smudge a small amount of Latte under the black on the outer part of the lower lash line.
  • Use a flat, stiff brush to pat Afterglow over lower lid, use the same shade and pat in the inner corner and bring under the inner lash line until it meets the Corrupt.
  • Line the upper and lower waterlines with Immoral and the upper lash line keeping the color close to the lashes.
  • Add mascara and a set of lashes to finish.

For anyone craving brighter hues, this is for you! This fun look will grab the attention of anyone around you leaving them electrified.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Beaches and Cream, Chickadee, Ice Queen, Mango Tango, Mermaid, Neptune, Peach Smoothie, White Lies, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Electric

  • Pat White Lies over the inner 1/3 of the lower lid followed by Chickadee and then Mango Tango.
  • Use a fluffy brush and blend Chickadee into the crease feathering the color upward.
  • Wipe off your brush and go in with Peach Smoothie and use to blend out any lines and under your brow.
  • Use Beaches and Cream under your brow and as your highlight.
  • Line the upper lash line with Makeup Geek’s Gel Liner in Electric creating a winged effect on the outer edge. Bring the same liner into the crease creating a “beak”.
  • Smudge Neptune under the inner and outer 1/3 of the lower lash line leaving the center open.
  • Go in with Mermaid and place in the open middle of the lower lash line.
  • Curl you lashes and add mascara and a set of dramatic lashes to finish.

Touch of Burgundy by gajewska wikitoria

This dark and dramatic look is accented by a stunning pop of gold to accentuate the deep burgundy hues for a look you will love.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Beaches and Cream, Bitten, Corrupt, White Lies, Makeup Geek Pigment in Liquid Gold, Sweet Dreams, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Immortal

  • Use a fluffy brush and feather Bitten into the crease extending the color into a “wing” at the outer edge. Blend the color upward and feather out any harsh lines.
  • With a different brush, go in with Beaches and Cream and blend out any harsh lines.
  • Take a small dome brush and the shade Corrupt and darken the outer v of the eye.
  • Smudge Bitten under the eye coming in 1/2 the way and bring out to meet the cat eye on the edge of the eye.
  • Use a flat, stiff brush and the pigment Sweet Dreams and pat over the lower lid staying below the crease.
  • Take a mixing medium (or contact solution) and Liquid Gold and line the inner 1/2 of the lower lash line.
  • Line the upper lash line with Immortal creating a dramatic winged effect on the outer edge.
  • Line the upper and lower waterlines as well and add a pop of White Lies in the inner corner of the eye.
  • Curl your lashes and add a set of dramatic lashes.

Pop of Razzleberry by inka2504

Inspired by the warm weather of summer, this look is enhanced by the added pop of warm color under the eye.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Bada Bing, Crème Brulee, Gold Digger, Razzleberry, Vanilla Bean, Cosmopolitan

  • With a small dome brush, place Bada Bing on the outer 1/3 of the eye and bring the color up slightly past the crease feathering the color into the crease some.
  • Use a small dome brush and Crème Brulee above the crease to blend out any lines from the brown.
  • Wipe off your brush and go in with Vanilla Bean and use to blend out any lines and under your brow bone.
  • Pat Gold Digger over the lower lid with a flat brush bringing the color up slightly past the crease until it meets the brown. Place in the tear duct and under the inner 1/3 of the lower lash line.
  • Smudge Cosmopolitan under the center of the lower lash line followed by Razzleberry on the outer 1/2.
  • Curl your lashes and add a set of wispy lashes to finish.

With the cool blue and pink tones, this remarkable look offers a different twist on the classic smokey eye.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Nautica, Simply Marlena, Corrupt, Beaches and Cream, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Immortal

  • Pat Nautica over the lower lid with a flat, stiff brush bringing the color up slightly past the crease and smudge under the eye as well.
  • Use a fluffy brush and sweep Simply Marlena in the crease as well as smudging under the eye over the edge of the Nautica.
  • Darken the outer 1/3 of the eye with Corrupt.
  • With a dome brush, use Beaches and Cream above the Simply Marlena to blend out any lines and under the brow.
  • Line the upper lash line with Immortal creating a wing at the edge and line the upper and lower waterlines.
  • Curl your lashes add mascara and a set of wispy lashes to complete the look.

Inspired by the colors of spring, this look is easy to achieve and great for a night out at the club.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Galaxy, Mermaid, Vanilla Bean, Lemon Drop, Simply Marlena

  • Pat Lemon Drop over the inner 1/3 of lid coming up slightly past the crease.
  • Wipe off your brush and follow with Simply Marlena making sure to overlap the shades (this will create that soft peach shade) covering the middle of the eye.
  • Use a small dome brush and Galaxy and place on the outer 1/3 of the eye and sweep into the crease feathering out any lines.
  • Wipe off your brush and go in with Vanilla Bean and use to buff out any lines left from the Galaxy and under the brow as well.
  • Smudge Galaxy under the outer 1/2 of the eye followed by Mermaid.
  • Curl your lashes and add mascara for a cool summer look.

Sea mist & Ocean Breeze by aniqua makeup

Taking inspiration for the cool tones of the ocean, this striking look is perfect for heating up any night.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Appletini, Bling, Corrupt, Ocean Breeze, Sea Mist, Unexpected, Makeup Geek Pigment in Sweet Dreams, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Immortal

  • Begin by using a fluffy brush and sweeping Unexpected into the crease.
  • Pat Bling over the inner 1/3 of the eye going up slightly past the crease.
  • Go in with Sea Mist and pat over the rest of the lid coming up past the crease as well.
  • Darken the outer corner of the eye with Ocean Breeze and bring the color up slightly into the crease and darken under the outer 1/3 of the eye.
  • Add Corrupt to the outer v of the eye to add depth.
  • Smudge Appletini under the eye where the Ocean Breeze left off coming in to where your lashes begin.
  • Pat Sweet Dreams over the inner 1/3 where you placed the Bling earlier and bring the color into the tear duct area as well.
  • Line the upper and lower waterlines with Immortal as well as the upper lashline creating a slight wing at the edge.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and Red Cherry #1 lashes to finish.

Alternative Products: Makeup Geek’s Shimmermint, Makeup Geek Pigment in Enchanted and Birthday Wish

  • With a fluffy dome brush, sweep Mango Tango into the crease of the eye blending the color out.
  • Darken the outer edge of the eye and the crease with Corrupt and smudge under the eye coming in to where your lashes begin.
  • Pat Envy over the lower lid staying below the black and then pat Shimmermint over that.
  • Smudge Enchanted under the eye starting in the middle of the eye coming in to where your lashes begin.
  • Begin where the Enchanted left off and smudge Birthday Wish under the rest of the eye.
  • Add Shimma Shimma to the inner corner.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and lashes to complete the look.

  • Take a fluffy brush and Latte on the crease and blend inward and upward feathering out any harsh lines
  • Use a small dome brush and place Mocha on the outer corner of the eye and bring into the crease.
  • Wipe off your fluffy brush and go in with Cocoa Bear and blend above the Mocha.
  • Starting at the outer edge, use a flat, stiff brush and pat Blitz over the lower lid coming in 1/2 way.
  • Wipe off your brush and pat Sweet Dreams from the inner corner to where the Blitz begins in the middle of the lid.
  • Smudge Blitz under the entire length of the lower lash line.
  • Line the upper lash line with Immortal creating a winged effect on the edge.
  • Use a cotton bud to create a crisp edge.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and a set of soft lashes to finish.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Burlesque, Cocoa Bear, Sensuous, Twilight

  • With a fluffy brush feather Cocoa Bear into the crease blending upward slightly and feathering out any harsh lines.
  • Use a smaller dome brush and accentuate the crease with Burlesque.
  • Darken the outer corner of the eye with Sensuous.
  • Gently pat Twilight over the center of the lid staying below the crease leaving the inner 1/3 of the eye open.
  • Wipe off your brush and pat Sensuous over inner 1/3 of the lower lid.
  • Smudge Burlesque under the eye coming in to where your lashes begin and finish using Twilight.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and lashes for an easy but polished look.

  • Use a fluffy brush and Crème Brulee in the crease blending the color up and out.
  • Gently pat Mermaid over the entire lower lid coming up slightly past the crease.
  • Darken the outer corner of the eye with Envy.
  • Blend the crease out using Latte and feather out any harsh lines.
  • Use a flat brush and pat Insomnia over the Mermaid on the lid.
  • Smudge Envy under the outer 1/3 of the eye followed by Mermaid and then smudge Liquid Gold under the inner 1/3 of the eye.
  • Line the upper lash line creating a winged effect as well as the upper and lower waterlines.
  • For added drama, add a line of glitter under the wing at the corner of the eye and extend past the wing.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and a set of dramatic lashes.

Insomnia Eyes by Diamante Make Up

What better way to add some intrigue to your day look than this using our color changing pigment to create this exquisite look? Easy to recreate and a must have in your arsenal of looks.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Appletini, Envy, Shimma Shimma, Vanilla Bean, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Mystic, Makeup Geek Pigment in Insomnia

Other Products: Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Mobster

  • Pat Shimma Shimma over the inner 1/3 of the lower lid.
  • Follow by patting on Appletini where the Shimma Shimma leaves off and bring past the center of the eye.
  • Use Envy next and bring the color out leaving the outer 1/3 blank.
  • Darken the outer 1/3 of the eye with Insomnia and sweep what’s left on your brush into the crease making sure to blend out any harsh lines.
  • Use Vanilla Bean to feather out any lines and under your brow.
  • Line the outer 1/2 of the lower lash line with Mobster and extend the color out past the upper lid.
  • Smudge Shimma Shimma under the eye coming in to where your lashes begin.
  • Use the gel liner in Mystic and add to the lower inner tear duct of the eye.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and a great set of accent lashes if you choose.

  • Gently pat Nightlife over the lower lid staying below the crease.
  • With a smaller dome brush, sweep Brown Sugar into the crease and use to blend out the line from Nightlife.
  • Use a fluffy brush and use Prom Night above the Brown Sugar.
  • Wipe off your brush and go in with Homecoming and use to feather out any lines from the Prom Night.
  • Use Vanilla Bean as your highlight under your brow and to blend out any lines that may be left.
  • Smudge Latte under the lower lash line and go over it with Prom Night.
  • Create a small winged line on the upper lash line with Immortal and line the upper and lower waterlines as well.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and lashes to finish.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Dirty Martini, Hipster, Mermaid, Pixie Dust, Lemon Drop, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Electric

  • Gently pat Lemon Drop over the inner 1/3 of the lower lid coming up slightly past the crease.
  • Wipe off your brush and go in with Pixie Dust and pat over the center of the eye making sure to blend where the 2 colors meet.
  • Again, wipe off your brush and go in with Dirty Martini and place on the outer 1/3 of the eye making sure to blend where the colors meet again.
  • Use a fluffy dome brush and Hipster and blend out the crease making sure to feather out any harsh lines.
  • Smudge Mermaid under the outer 1/3 of the lower lash line and bring the color around the edge of the Dirty Martini.
  • Follow by smudging Pixie Dust under the center of the lower lash line followed by Lemon Drop.
  • Use the gel liner in Electric to create a wing on the upper lash line,
  • Curl your lashes and add your favorite mascara to finish.

  • Pat Liquid Gold over the inner 1/3 of the lower lid.
  • Follow by patting Vegas Lights over the center of the lid coming up slightly past the crease.
  • Place Blitz over the outer 1/3 of the eye and use a fluffy brush to blend out the crease making sure to feather out any harsh lines.
  • Smudge Blitz under the outer 1/3 of lower lash line followed by Vegas Lights coming in a little past 1/2 way under the eye.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and you have a quick yet simply stunning look.

Liquid Gold by candykiller

Using only 2 pigments, this incredible look shows just how versatile pigments can be and how stunning their effect is.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Pigments in Liquid Gold, Insomnia, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Immortal

  • Pat Liquid Gold over the iner 1/2 of the lower lid coming up past the crease making sure to hit the inner tear duct as well.
  • Wipe off your brush and pat Insomnia over the outer 1/2 of the eye.
  • Use a dome brush and sweep Insomnia into the crease keeping most of the color on the outer edge.
  • With a fluffy brush, blend out any harsh lines in the crease.
  • Smudge Insomnia under the outer 3/4 of the lower lash line followed by Liquid Gold.
  • Line the upper lash line with Insomnia creating a wing at the edge.
  • Curl your lashes and add mascara for an easy but amazing look.

Women’s Day by Diamante Make Up

Combining 3 shades of eye liners not only makes this look detailed, but the use of cool tones makes it perfect for spring.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Mermaid, Ocean Breeze, Shimma Shimma, Unicorn, Makeup Geek Gel Liners in Fame, Mystic

Other Products: Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Amethyst, Makeup Geek Eye Shadow in Wisteria

  • Pat Wisteria over the inner 1/3 of the lower lid keeping most the color near the inner eye.
  • Wipe off your brush and pat Mermaid over the rest of the lid coming up slightly past the crease making sure to blend out any harsh lines.
  • Use a smaller dome brush and Ocean Breeze to darken the outer corner of the eye.
  • Use a small dome brush and Mermaid to add depth to the crease.
  • Go in with Shimma Shimma and use as your highlight under the brow and in the inner corner.
  • Smudge Wisteria under the eye coming in to where your lashes begin.
  • Line the inner 1/3 of the upper lash line with Fame then switch to Mystic for the center of the upper lash line, go back to Fame to finish the line and create a wing at the edge.
  • Create a “beak” in the inner tear duct using Fame and make the very tip of the beak using Mystic.
  • Use Amethyst to extend a wing from the lower lash line extending to where your upper wing is leaving a space between the lines.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and lashes to complete the look.

White liner by make-up-by-natalia

This is for our more artist Makeup Geek’s. When you want to find a way to express yourself, or need a great party look this is ideal!

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadow in Chickadee, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Immortal

Other Products: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Mocha, Latte, White Lies, Crème Brulee, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk (for better precision use a small brush), Makeup Geek Pigment in Utopia

  • Pat White Lies over the inner 1/3 of the lower lid.
  • Follow with Chickadee making sure the two shades overlap for a softer shade in the middle of the two.
  • Use Mocha and a small dome brush and place the color on the outer 1/3 of the eye bringing the edge of the color into a wing keeping the color even with your crease.
  • With a flat stiff brush, go back where the Mocha meets the Chickadee and use Latte to blend the two shades together.
  • Wipe off your small dome brush and go in with Crème Brulee and blend at the edge above the brown.
  • Do the same thing and place Chickadee beside the Crème Brulee making sure to keep most of the color toward the outer part of the eye.
  • Take any white liner like the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil and a small detail brush and draw a line above the crease winging the color upward above the brown.
  • Wipe off your detail brush and go back above the white with Mocha and starting at the middle of the white, place a brown line above it extending to the end.
  • Line the upper lash line with Immoral creating a wing under the brown wing your created from the Mocha.
  • Use your white and create a wing under the black line.
  • Smudge Mocha under the eye coming in 1/2 way.
  • Finish by smudging Utopia under the rest of the eye.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and a set of fun lashes to finish.

Liquid Gold by kitulet

Nothing is as striking as Liquid Gold, and the intense pigment makes a amazing appearance on this look. Perfect for every eye color, this look is one you will love.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Bleached Blonde, Mocha, Preppy, Frappe, Makeup Geek Pigments in Liquid Gold, Blitz, Makeup Geek Gel Liner in Immortal

  • With a fluffy brush, feather Preppy into the crease blending out any lines left behind.
  • Use a smaller dome brush and Frappe to accentuate the crease of the eye.
  • Gently pat Liquid Gold over the lid coming in 3/4 of the way with a flat stiff brush keeping the color below the crease. You want to leave the inner 1/3 blank.
  • Place Bleached Blonde on the inner 1/3 that you left empty.
  • Darken the outer v of the eye with Mocha.
  • Smudge Blitz under the entire length of the eye.
  • Line the upper lash line with Immortal creating a wing at the edge and line the upper and lower waterlines as well.
  • Curl your lashes, add mascara and a soft set of lashes to finish.

Peacocks Love by gajewska wiktoria

Perfect for summer, this peacock inspired look is not only easy to do, but has amazing results.

Products Used: Makeup Geek Eye Shadows in Beaches and Cream, Chickadee, Ice Queen, Latte, Peacock, White Lies, Yellow Brick Road

  • Pat White Lies over the inner 1/3 of the eye and go over it with Ice Queen.
  • Wipe off your brush and pat Yellow Brick Road over the center of the lower lid staying below the crease.
  • Again, wipe off your brush and pat Chickadee over the outer 1/3 of the eye.
  • Use a small fluffy brush and sweep Latte into the crease blending out any lines.
  • Wipe off that brush and go in with Beaches and Cream and use to feather out any lines and under the brow.
  • Use a mixing medium (or contact solution) and Peacock and line the upper lash line creating a winged effect.
  • Smudge the same shade under the eye coming in to where your lashes begin and pat in the lower waterline as well.
  • Place a mixture of White Lies and Ice Queen under the inner 1/3 of the eye where the Peacock left off coming in to the inner corner.
  • Curl your lashes and add a set of accent lashes to finish.
