The Best of Urban Decay

Since there are so many makeup brands out there to choose from, I thought I would narrow down the many options and share my favorite products from various brands.   So, let’s start with Urban Decay!

24/7  Glide On Eye Pencils

These by far are my favorite eyeliners as they glide on smoothly and have a punch of color!  Coming in 19 shades, you’re bound to find one that you love (my favorites are “Zero” and “Rockstar”).  The only downside is that since they are creamy, they can melt if you have oily skin.  My fix: set it with a smudge of eyeshadow on top.

Deluxe Shadow Box

This collection of eyeshadows is a must have for you makeup geeks who love bright colors! It includes 9 electrifying shades ranging from gold, blue, to purple.  These eyeshadows are extremely pigmented and are easy to blend- the only downside is that they are all shimmery.

Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Getting your eyeshadows to stay put and not crease can be a challenge, but using a primer makes a huge difference! This primer potion works really well and is a must have for your makeup kit- it makes blending easier, helps the shadows to appear more vibrant, and keeps your look lasting all day.  Downside=  the container is a pain to get product out of after awhile.

You can get a lot more out of UDPP if you YouTube or Google how to depot it…Seriously, you get a few more months out of your primer if you cut it open and put it in a seperate container when you “run out”.

I LOVE the glide on eyepencils!! Beautiful Colors!! I need to get them!!
As for the eye primer… I love the one from Mary Kay … I think it costs $11 or $10. Glides on smoothly and helps the colors look more vivid, stay on longer :-)

The Deluxe Shadow Box is my FAVORITE!!! I love every color in it :) I haven’t tried the 24/7 Pencils yet, but I will since you’ve recommended them so highly

i love urban decays 24/7 eyeliners i got the BOURBON colour one and it is a really rich broown great for sexy summer looks, and they stay put ALL DAY! amazing, i got them super cheap on ebay too:)

Marlena- how long should you wait after applying primer to apply e/s. thanks btw, i think Book of Shadows would be awesome on the list since it doesn’t have as many shimmery e/s and comes with a primer potion and large mirror :)

I like the urban decay potion primer it’s SO much better than other products I’ve tried and this one REALLY works very well plus it’s purple my favorite color!

I love the eyeliners… they go on so smoothly and vibrantly, but the only issue I have is since it is so soft and creamy, it breaks really easily when you try to sharpen it. Sometimes a freshly sharpened point crumbles right off and it sucks :(

I love these pencils! My favorite is “Electric” – a very intense blue. When you use the UDecay glitter liner in “Spandex” over this pencil, you get a fabulous and flattering look. It is worth the investment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fully agree with what you said about the UDPP. I contacted the company and stated that I probably wouldn’t buy their product again because of the poor packaging and not being able to use all the product. There answer was that I should place the tube upside down to let the product fall closer to the top. Umm, that is great and all, but I mean come on…. Its time for a packaging that actually works!

I love the 24/7 Liners! Not long ago I got Flipside & it’s GREAT!!! Last week I got the Half Baked set & LOVE the Primer Potion in “Sin”. It’s gorgeous & I’ve actually worn it as a shadow with some liner & mascara for a quick look.

I’ve tried the pencils and the primer and love them both! I agree with the primer being so hard to get out of the container after some use. I’m using the Too Faced primer right now, which squeezes out of the tube soooo nicely, but it just doesn’t have the same effect as the Urban Decay. The UD primer seems to be more “tacky” and sticky, whereas the Too Faced is almost more smooth to touch. My shadows adhere best to the UD primer. Plus, the UD primer doesn’t seem to make my lid look as ashy as the Too Faced. I will go back to using the lovely Urban Decay Primer once my Too Faced runs out!

marlena, cud u pls do a haul on cargo cosmetics?cargo is easily available in the uk now but i am confused as to should u buy them or not.thanks.

I recently started wearing makeup… I have only a few shades of eye shadow and all of the are from urban decay…
if you could, i would love it if you had any ideas for eye shadow looks with any of the following urban decay colors:
– Midnight cowboy
-Half Baked
-Twice Baked

(i also have bourbon 24/7 eyeliner, but i’m not very good at applying it :P)

Please help me! :) thanks

I LOVEEEEEE the eyeliners from urban decay.
I have 3 of them so far and i’m lovinggg them sooo much.
they are my favorites too !

They recently changed the wand to the UDPP so that it’s slightly bent. PERFECT for getting the rest of the product out. I’m also a fan of the 24/7 pencils. I have oily lids but if I apply the UDPP, it stays on all day.

I used to think that primer didn’t really work and was a waste of money before I tried it but nowI absolutely love Urban Decay’s Primer Potion…I am a waitress and I sometimes work 10 hour shifts on a patio (with lots of sweating involved) and my eyeshadow stays intact and crease free untill well after the end of my shift

I just bought a pencil in Rockstar, and I have to say, I’m in love with it. Such a deep purple, and it looks divine on top of shadow.

hi marlena! good choice! i love the deluxe eyeshadow palette the colours are very pigmented and not to fragile i hate the packaging to udpp but ive cut mine open and depotted it much better now :)
