Tips for Teens:
- If you’re a young teen, all you really need is mascara and lipgloss. You can add in the eyeliner when you like- brown or even purple is great for everyday, while black is great for nights or weekends when you want that extra drama
- Don’t wear full foundation as you probably don’t need it yet- use a bit of concealer just on your blemishes. Use your finger to apply, but make sure you wash your hands right before you touch your face.
- If you feel your skin is oily, use just a little bit of pressed powder with a sponge to apply and pat it just where you need it (usually on the forehead and around the nose and chin)

Marlena I love all of your tutorials and how you are able to create georgous looks with optional inexpensive products. Keep up the good work and keep the tutorials coming!
i know !! im only 13 and ive been wearing makeup for about 2 years and she makes my addiction to make up alot easier !
LOOOOVE this look! im not a teen but i love how its inexpensive natural and absolutely GORGEOUS and to die for! me and my friend tonesia LOVE you! =) keep up the good work!
Hi Marlena,
Your tutorial was great for teens starting. I know you busy but a I had a quick questions. for you. My niece is having her quince fairly soon. Im going to do her makeup and i just wanted some suggestions on how to not make her look to old. her colors are pink and white
All she should need is some mascara, peachy-pink lipgloss, and a bit of peach blush (peach usually looks more natural than pink). If she has any blemishes or scars, use just a little concealer and a bit of pressed powder on top to set
thanks for looking out for us teens :]
Hi,Marlena… I’m thinking about trying the NARS blush and bronzer. It is pricey though so I’m hesitant. What do you like about it so much? I hear that it is so good from others online as well! What sets it apart from all the other blushes and bronzers out there?thank you
If I had to pick just one, I’d get the bronzer as it’s not orange looking like many others are
But… lately I’ve been liking the NYX blushes much better than NARS as they aren’t shimmery. I do believe that NARS products are almost worth the price- just have to be choosey in what you get from them
I think this video is great! I can deffinitly use everything in this video to do my own make-up, but with other colours too
But, I was wondering if you could possibly do a video using products you might find at Wal-Mart and Shoppers Drug Mart (if possible), even if you don’t use those exact products, it would be extremely helpful!
<3
isn’t shoppers drug mart only in canada? anyway, i live near a shoppers drugmart here in canada and they have the benefit cosmetics, smashbox and the bourjois cosmetics which i know marlena used in some of her tuts.
I agree….another great tutorial. I just discovered your website a few weeks ago and have learned so many great tips. Keep up the great work!
I’m not a teen, but I love this – and everything’s wallet friendly. Fantastic <3
marlena.you are soo pretty.
and i love ALL of your tutorials.
i’m going to have to try this look out.
thanks so much:)
i hope we can be friends:)

Hey marlena! HELP!! My skin is super oily… I wear MAC mattifying gel and prep & prime under my makeup and I wear an oil free foundation from bobbi brown and nars loose powder. I even put mac fix + spray on and the oil STILL seaps through my skin! Therefore I put more powder on the blot it and then I look cakey! Can you give me any tips???
PS. You look so great! Im following your lead and ive lost 40 pounds now!!
Claire from Yorkshire in the UK! x
Congrats on the weight loss- that’s awesome!!! For oily skin, try using mineral foundation- any brand should do I am thinking. Also, you don’t need both prep and prime and the matte gel- just use the gel.
Thanx so much! I’ve tried bare escentuals before ad I did like it especially the matte one! Will go back to it! X
What lead?
Hi! i love this tutorial
but under my eyes i have these dark bruise-like circles. No bags or anything just these circles. Sometimes it looks like I have black eyes, and I just can’t find a way to cover them up. It’s not from sleep deprovation and my bones arnt broken. Help me out?
You definitely need a peach/orange colored concealer that is a little darker than your skin tone. THen go over with your foundation to help blend out that concealer.
Great video. I recently just bought the eyeshadow base from Victoria’s Secret. It works really well for me and it was only about ten dollars. It comes in a little tube and has a creamer texture- very easy to apply. That might be another route to go if you don’t want to splurge on the UDPP.
Heyy Marlena. J was wondering if yuu could do a review fer the CS Metal Palette? I hear it’s better than the shimmer and I’m trying to decide between the two.. Mainly fer a true gold colour.
I just saw that they had that- it looks really pretty!
I need to pick one up
Yeahh I just saw it and thought it looked apsolutely gorgeous, but I don’t want to buy all the palettes. Right now I have the 88 Matte, which I love but is lacking a nice gold that doesn’t look too yellow on my fair skin.
Also, do yuu know where they sell NYX in Canada? I’ve been searching forever ! I even looked in Fort Laturdale when I spent a night, but couldn’t find it. So it would also be helpful to know where they sell it in the US too. Lots of love, Gina
Gina, I live in Canada too and had a tough time finding nyx products! I ended up ordering online. I also recently tracked down a few Rexall drug stores that sell them. I can’t remember if it was the Rexall site or the NYX site, but on one of them you can find a list of the Rexall locations that carry that brand (not all of them do).
Kayy Thhanks so much !!
Hi Marlena,
Thank you so much for this video. I just have a QUESTION for you…
I have run out of my concealer and i need a new one FAST. A part from the one you recommended in the tutorial to you have any other favourites or recommended ones??? I need a concealer that conceals blemishes, redness etc well. It would be great to hear from you.
Keep up the fantastic work!!!
You’re one of my favourite makeup ‘teachers’. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into everything. OH.. and one more thing. Do you think places like David Jones and Myer have mac makeup??? Because i really wan’t to get some mac makeup, i’m very excited to find out!
Thank you for all you help Marlena!
YOU’RE A STAR!!!!
i really like the Coastal Scents concealer quads- they cover really well! I also like the MUFE ones as they cover well- I just wouldn’t use them under the eyes as they are a more cake like concealer
Thank you marlena.
I ended up getting a MAC concealer.
PharmaPlus sells NYX products in Canada,
This is a great easy to do everyday look! I’m not a teen but I still love it!
I Love this video
I’m so glad you did a teen look! I hope you do more of these easy looks! I will definetly be using this one
Thanks!

Yes a very easy look and one that most teenies can do and sure get the boys looking and admiring … a lot of schools over here in England have a ban on make up/jewellery etc but once left then the worlds your oyster for the sub 20,s and party party party ….. you should do an all night party look to stay on for 24hrs as thats what most needed …. laughing
enjoyed todays lesson Goddess and forever at your worship! ..

KNEELING before your DEVINE PRESENCE!
everytime i go to a drugstore, browsing through revlon, covergirl, loreal, maybelline, i always think “hmmmm…..if marlena was right here right now, would she recommend this??” btw, can u tell if a certain drugstore product would be good just by swatching it on the back of your hand?
too funny
Yes, I can usually tell by swatching on my hand- if it doesn’t show up really well, it’s not going to be pigmented enough to show up on my face either
Hi Marlena,
First off, I would like to say THANK YOU! Your makeup tips are sooooo helpful!
As a teen, this tutorial is soooo helpful, exspecially since my mum is always telling me I take to long doing my makeup in the mornings!! Hehe
Where can I purchase NYX products? I’ve looked at the places in or around Ann Arbor, MI and I’m not able to find them.
Thanks again!
Pandorra
I live around Ann Arbor too and I have found Ulta on Eisenhower (by Whole Foods) is now carrying NYX products. Their selection isn’t big, but it’s a start.
Hey guys. For everybody out there looking for NYX make up, I just found out about a website the sells it. They have a huge selection. It is called http://www.cherryculture.com, good luck! BTW, thanks, Marlena, I am obsessed with your site now: first thing in the morning, last thing before I go to bed. I walk around the house in pj’s and full make up and my husband just scratchs his head.
@ Daniela, thanks for the info for the Website
and for Marlena, thanks for the tips and tutorial. My daughter really like your website.
Hi Marlena,
I am from Australia and its difficult to find NYX and Urban Decay makeup here. Is there a substitute from NYX jumbo eye pencils?
Thanks for the amazin tutorial again.
)
Take Care
Hi I love your tutorials. I have melasma on both sides of my cheeks. I love and use the revlon colorstay foundation but I need a really good concealer. If you could suggest something that will cover up cause no matter what I buy the darker spots just end up looking gray. by the way you look great. Thanks
Hey Marlena!
Love this tutorial! For your next tutorials, you should do a series on different age groups, such as, adults and mature women. After all, make-up should evolve with us, right???
Love you!!!
Hey Marlena!! Ur tutorials are super helpful! I love!! I have a couple questions maybe u can help me out….. Im not a teen but I’ve never used foundation only powder I didnt want to get an expensive brand but I dont know how to pick my color from a drug store because I want to try it on first but I dont know if i return it if I dont get the right color… help!
Also Ive been using mac’s eye cream to help my concelar be smooth but I feel it still looks cakey and I have horrible dark circles…
Thanks soooooooooo much!!!!!
Can you do a bridal look please I am getting married soon and dont know what to do…..
Marlena did a bridal look ages ago. Look it up it’s so pretty!
Hello Marlena, I really like your tutorials, you are a really talented artist. I`ve noticed that your eyelashes are looking very long. I was wondering if you have been using any lash enhancing products on them. I would like to know more about those kinds of products or would like help, tips on making eyelashes grow or look longer if you have any. Thanks, keep up the great work.
What an awesome Tut!! Can’t wait to try this out!!
Thank you so much for doing a teen makeup look! It’s enough to get a fantastic look, but natural enough to wear to school/church. You’re amazing- keep it up! (Although I do admit that I’m one of the teens that does wear a full face of foundation, but thats because of my really red skin.) Thanks for keeping it very budget friendly! You are definitely my favorite makeup guru.
Thank you so much for showing us how to use make-up properly, haha! I just have one request: can you do a video on how to apply a summery/going to the beach make-up look?? i really appreciate it!! thanks!
Thank you soo much for showing us to apply make-up properly, haha! i just have one request: can you show us how to apply a summery/going to the beach look?? i would really appreciate it, thanks!!!
Wow! i luv the way u do nd explain makeup . I m not a teen but luv this look . U re the best make up artist ever
Marlena, hands down…you are the BEST makeup guru on YouTube right now!!! congratulations for all this wonderful work…..
I have the exact same maybelline palette but I have NEVER been able to make it work so effectively for me… so THANK U!!
Also, just wanted to ask you you got a spray tan done…does it have any side-effects for the skin is it safe to use even on break outs?
P.S. your weight loss program is working great for me too!
Love the look. Gives me an idea for when I’m running late to work. lol. I was wondering… my friend swears by avon makeup. She wears EVERYTHING avon and is trying to get me to join the club. From the mineral makeup, loose powder, concealer and even the Mark side of avon. Can you do a review on avon makeup please?
Hi Marlena; I already commented on this video on You Tube but again, I just wanted to tell you how great this look is and how easy to follow your tutorials are. My question is, how do you pick out the right shade of foundation at a drugstore if you can’t open one and test it out? I have access to a lot of makeup; there are a lot of places with drugstore makeup nearby and I live by an Ulta. I just don’t know how to get the right shade without buying several bottles of each brand and testing them out… yes I’m cheap and lazy! I’m definitely fair, but I don’t look particularly pale or tan. I don’t have pink undertones like a redhead would, but I don’t have any golden/yellow or olive tones either. If it helps, I usually wear BareMinerals in Fairly Light and that matches pretty well. I like that, but I just need a liquid foundation to go under it so I don’t look so powdery
help?
San Diego wanna-be MUG,
Michelle
hello Marlena
Can you help me i’m from the netherlands and i love watching your tutorials. But i can not see this one ill try but he said that i can not watch this in our country?
Thanks Astrid
That’s really great that you do tutorials for teenagers. I wish there were tutorials when I was a teenager
Hi Marlena..
I heard alot of good things about the Urban Decay Primer Potion but I also heard good things about the Two Faced Shadow Insurance.. which one do you prefer?
Thanks
Hi Marlena, this might be an odd question as it doesn’t really pertain to makeup, but I was curious what is the color of your hair? I really like it and I’m getting my hair done next week and was looking for a color like yours. If you know that would be great, if not that’s fine also.
Thanks!!
seems so sad or serious, I hope everything ok with you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing the german viewers vid, i wanted to see this vid so bad but i couldnt, then i visited ur site and i saw u had one for us, thanks again!
Thank you for sharing your tips, they are the best, one question for today; How can I choose the right color of the loose powders and the bronzing powders? My skin is fair. Tell me your tips.
YOU ARE THE BEST.
Please Help Me Choose a Nars Loose Powder Color
Hi. I am pretty new to makeup, and would love to try Nars Loose Powder. However, unfortunately there is nowhere close to me that sells it. I believe I have narrowed it down to either Snow or Flesh.
For reference:
Currently I wear Bare Minerals Fair. In the winter, I mix in the Mineral Veil, and in the summer I some times mix in a little Fairly Light.
I have a red/ pink face, but I have trouble telling if the veins on the inside of my arms are blue or green… maybe slightly green…but that may also be the yellow cast from the indoor lighting. In the sunlight: the veins on the inside of my arm appear…black? maybe a dark blue? I have been told by BeautiControl Reps. that I am pink (P1 actually), if that helps.
In any case, I am relatively translucent. I have freckles EVERYWHERE and veins visible on my eye lids. My hair is very dark brown. My eyes are commonly mistaken for brown because they are very dark, but are actually quite green/hazel especially in the sun.
If I do not get lost in the sea of questions and comments, I would really appreciate some guidance.
Thanks!
Marlena!(: This is such a good video, not like all the others are not perfect(;
I love the bronze, Imma have to get it.
Anywho. What should i use to cover red acne marks?I have them all over my cheeks. :/
Hi!! Marlena please answer me!!!! I have large pores, which product do you recommend me to minimize them??
Hey Marlena,
Do you know when you should be getting more lighter paintpot samples in your store???
Marlena,
Thanks for this video. I have a question. I only apply mascara and eyeliner on my upper lashes, somehow it bleedsout under my lower lashes. I’m constantly having to rub it off. And when I do apply mascara and eyeliner to my lower lashes it does it too. So i thought I would eliminate the problem by not putting it on my lower lashes. But to no avail it still happens. Please help!!
Hey Marlena! Love the look
I was wondering if you could do a more dramatic or colourful look for us teens who like to play with make-up
thanks <3
Hey Marlena, I just wanted to know if you could check out my one and only video (so far!) and let me know what you think, Its only 8 mins of your time i’m asking lol. Just gimme some tips! I know the lightings all over the place! Thanks x
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqHU-lnY9z4
Thanks Marlena, I’m so glad that you chose to use the spong applicator that came with the compact. I’m going to recommend that my little sister watch this video.
Thank you so much! I love all of your helpful tips
I am 39, a single Mom of 2 and will graduate college in May this year for Graphic Design. I was a factory worker for the last 20 years and never got into wearing make up. Now that I am starting a new career I am so glad that I found you. I am cosmetically challenged to say the least and your videos help me out so much. I am thankful for the step by step instructions and I hope I can get the hang of it before I start interviewing. Thank you so much
Hello, I always watch your videos and love all them. I especially liked this because it is easy, fast and ideal to go to uni. Thank you for your dedication. Greetings from Chile, bye.
Hi Marlena,
I have bad acne scars on my cheeks, deep pore looking ones, so I avoid wearing blush because I feel like it only enhances the scars. How can I give my face color without my scars being enhanced? I am a medium (tan) oily skin tone.
oops…I guess i left the above comment under the wrong tutorial…because I’m not a teen…sorry…but i still have that question above…and I don’t break out anymore…
Really nice video; I’ll have to try it!
I have two questions.
I have oily skin and I break out VERY easily! I feel like I can’t wear any facial makeup (concealer, foundations, blushes, bronzers, anything) because it all makes me break out. I tell the workers at Sephora and Ulta that I have very acne prone skin, and they will suggest foundations to me that are for acne prone skin and I still break out. My mom can’t even kiss my forehead without me breaking out in that spot!! So what should I do about my incredibly temperamental skin? What facial makeup could I wear?
I also have a question about acne scars. I have quite a few acne scars on my face and I was wondering if you knew of any products to reduce or erase the dark scars?
Thanks!
Hi Marlena I was wondering if you could help me bout finding my Nars loose powder foundation… My MAC pressed powder I’m c40 I’m thinking I may be desert in the nars loose powder.. What do you think? I’d appreciate if u wrote me back thanks!
hi Marlena!
Could you please do a tutorial for “minimizing pores”? My skin is oily and I´ve got some problems with that.
Sometimes my make-up is getting cakey and it´s beginning to fade very soon….. thanx a lot and all the best from Germany =)
Hi Marlena! I am a new fan of your website!! I LOVE IT!! I love your tutorials…I think they are the best ones I’ve seen so far… I’ve been buyiing stuff from the MUG store lately, and I wanted to tell you that I loved the service!! I got the stuff super fast…and the products were amazing!! You and your team are the best!!! Congratulations!!
Good morning, Marlena! I, too, am a big fan of your tutorials! Would you please consider doing one for ladies over 40? My skin has changed over the years and some of the products I have worn are no longer achieving the same look! HELP!!!
You have always loved the MAC paint pot in “painterly” as an eyeshadow basecoat and I’ve noticed you like UD’s primer potion…is one better for an “older” lid than the other, in your opinion?
Thank you! : )
Wow!! This is really good and quite easy as well! When school starts again, Im gonna do this every day until I start being too late to do it lol.
xx
I love your tutorials but is there any chance you would do one for your hair or is it just naturally like that?? Thank you!
Okay i know this is a stupid question because this is a low budget look and lovely too but they don’t sell that maybeline e/s here so is there a MAC dupe for the copperish colour?
hey marlena
i am so happy that i can watch your video here..
because youtube said that it wasn´t available in my country (germany)..
thanks for the option “viddler” !!!!!!!
yours gina
Marlena, I absolutely love your tutorials! You have a fun and playful personality and I just love watching you do your thing! You’re awesome!
This is a tip for Marlena and all other MUGs out there:
When you buy a mascara, lipgloss or anything with a wand, you can make the shape of the wand different so it’s easier to put it on your lashes, or what ever, with out getting the product on your face… Curve the wand at the top, just by pressing it on the edge of the bottle.
What products do you use on your skin, your skin is absolutely beautiful, as a teen I didn’t break out at all but now in my early teens I find that my skin needs extra care.
This has very little to do with the purpose you were trying to achieve with this video… but… I love Love LOVE your ring… where can I get a similar one? Thanks!
Hi Marlena:
i had always worn some eyeshad and eyeliner and lipgloss… but every since i found your tutorials on you tube last year of October… i have watched probably every tutorial and subscribed to you on youtube…. not to mention i have spent i know well over $300.00 on make up eyeshadows and Mac brushes…. and ordered stuff from the MUG store as well… But i just want to say thank u… b/c i can do things with make up and eyeshadow i never thought i would be able to do… and i get soooo… many compliments now… i also tried this look with the maybelline amethyst smoke and it turned out just beautiful….. i am not a teenager by no means… but hey….whatever works
lol <3… thanks again and keep up the GREAT work..!!!!
NIK
Hey Marlena, I was wondering what you used for foundation because the ones I have tried never last all day and after only a few hours, my face looks gross. ANy suggestions.
MARLENA!!!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR TIPs, TRICKS, AND TUTORIALS!
You are a life saver! I used to not care too much about my makeup…my makeup was always simple, I only used one color (maybelline-Pink Sands) since I started wearing make-up, eyeliner on the bottom, and top sometime, and mascara! But, now that I have found you, I am into trying all different colors on my eyes! YAY! Anyways, I have a couple of questions!
1. I recently bought clinique brushes, do you like them/recommend them? If not should I go with some from Sephora or Mac?
2. What about the clinique eye shadows, Do you recommend them? I have one that I got in a gift set but I haven’t had too much experience with it yet to say if I like it or not. What do you think?
3. Do you ever use just one color? For example, I have always just used really light colors like very light-shimmery pink and shimmer tan, nude colors because when I use darker colors my eyes seem to look as though I have black eyes? What could I do so that I can use ALL colors without having this problem?
*Sorry so many questions, like I said I am new to all this! =)
P.S. Please answer my Q’s I am Desperate LOL =) =) =)
Hi Marlena,
I live in Holland and i want to buy soms stuff in you shop, is that possible, because i can’t find the shippingcosts?
I hope you will answer my question.
Thanks!!
See my reply one message below
Hi Jenneke,
I’m not marlena but i can aswer your question, I ordered something in the Mugstore (i live in the netherlands as well) so it is possible. Shipping depends on the products you buy (weight).
If you go to “store” and then press “store FAQ” everything is explained.
Hope that helps!
THANK YOU for your extra videos for us German viewers!!!
<3 <3
Hey Marlena! I love love love your tutorials and come on your website all the time! I’m almost 15 and am wondering what you think is enough makeup. I sometimes get really bad breakouts and am wondering if you think foundation is good for a teen my age.
Thanks!
I thought I would let everyone know that Ulta is having a sale on select makeup brands and Maybelline is 40% off!
The eyeshadow trio is $3.23 instead of 5.39.

Hey Marlena
–
I’ve just recently started watching your videos and they’re amazing!! Quick question. I’m from the states, but I go to school in Canada. If you could pick a drug store brand, primer, concealer, and eyeshadow, what would you pick? I have combination skin and fairly dark spots under my eyes (not too bad) My biggest challenge is finding a concealer I like that matches my skin. I’m definitely pretty tan (I’m asian). I’ve used liquid concealers for a long time but Im not really a big fan. Thanks so much!

Hey Marlena!!
I´m so hooked up with your site… i´ve found it out a few days ago in youtube and I´m loving it!!! I´m from Chile and i´m a little bit sad because the products you use aren´t available here
I´m trying to do your looks with the things I have but is not the same… i was wondering… can you recomend me loreal or maybeline make up (that brands are available here)… similar to the NYX or MAC you´re using??
Thank U for your amazing tutorials… I´m in my mid twenties and didn´t have a clue on how to use make up… and I´m loving this makeup for teens… keep on going!!
I´m sending a Bid hug from Chile!!
P.S: I´m sorry if my english writing is bad!! we speak spanish in here!! xD
i have a question how do you make your mother understand that what you just showed us isn’t to much makeup .?:)
Hi Marlena,
I’m new at your site, but my mom introduced me to http://www.MakeupGeek.com. I LOVE this look but maybe you can make a makeup look for a costume I have. It is black and purple, and i dont know what Eyeshawdows, blush etc. to use. Hopefully you can do this look! : )
Thanks!
Hey Marlena,
just in relation to the “gel liner pot” that you used in this tutorial. Does MAC have a product like this? Im in australia.
thanks
Hey, Marlena! Thank you for all your tutorials, they’re very helpful! I was also wondering, after I apply my mascara, there were always little dark dots coming off around my eyes, is it cause of the product I use or the way I applied it?
Hi Marlena!
Love this look, it’s awesome!
I love your eyeliner tip, it’s so much easier to apply the cream with a pencil instead of a brush!
One little tip for contacts wearers: put on the eyeliner before you put your contacts in, or be super careful when you do it! I normally use pencil liner for my inner rims, so i didn’t think of this before using the cream liner. Anyways, a little fleck of the cream liner came off my pencil and got smeared on my contact, and i’m pretty sure it’s ruined. I don’t know if this happens with all cream liners, i used the new 24 hour one from maybelline.
Thanks for all the tutorials, i love them!
hey marlena!! i love your tutorials, you explain so well and so easy! I have a Q though. I have really oily skin and when i wear foundation or blush, you can always tell i have it on. what foundation or creme should i use to prevent oily looking make up?…THANX
thanks soo much this really helped me , you give great tips
Thanks so much! This helped me a lot! I have a general question though… can you substitute drugstore brands for your MAC, UrbanDecay, etc??
Hey Marlena!
I was wondering, is there anything you could use for a substitute for eye primer?
Thanks!! =)
Ok. So i was shown this website by a 6 year old and i love it!!! but with this episode I need stuff that is even cheaper, I am 11 and i am just now aloud to wear makeup. and I have barley anything but 12 bucks and a grandma that has a low budget to but me things. and i would like to know the cheapest things to buy that are not made for 5 year olds in prinscess kits

Hey Marlena,
I am a teen who needs to use foundation. I have tried lots of things, but everything’s always to dark or comes out as a yellowish color. I have light/pale dry to normal skin, with some redness and blemishes. I prefer drugstore brands…. but I am interested in whatever you recommend & dont mind if its cream or powder. I also have trouble finding the right shade for my skin-tone. Help?
Thanks<3

Hi, I have been watching several of your videos and I have really liked them. They are really good techniques i have been wanting to know how to do your makeup for the summer my problem is you know when it is really hot and the first thing I do when I get up is to get ready and you know get dressed and the wash my face and what I do before I apply my makeup is put on a face conciliar cream on my face then I apply my makeup with a makeup sponge. My question is I have small eyes and really dark eyebrows and I am Latina and light complexion and sometimes you can’t even tell that I am waring any makeup what can I do?
I’ have recently discovered your site and I am thrilled with all the goodies and advice. I need a pretty but light handed look for my job. I am a flight attendant so somethimes my make up goes on the honor system because i dont have time to check on it. so please some tips for a middle aged , busy Flight Attendant. I have extremely fair skin and very blue eyes and dark hair…thanks for any advice, i have really had fun tonight just going through all your different pictorials. fondest reguards, Katleen Wolcott
This site is amazing., and so are you.

However, I was wondering if perhaps you had any advice for fair, cool-toned girls who can’t seem to beat the red tones in their skin? Unfortunately, my range and budget are strictly drugstore-level, so I don’t know if this is altogether possible… But if you do have any advice, it would be much appreciated.
Oh, and perhaps a good cool-toned blush that blends well, as well…? Thanks!
(And I’ve done a fair amount of research on both… But haven’t been super lucky so far. :/ )
i am barley a teen and i have been wearing makeup for years . im obssessed with makeup !! ive always been !! and you make my addiction easyer !!
I want to thank you for the tutorials. Im 25 and i just started wearing make-up because of you. I was raised with my dad and had no woman in my life to show me how. I am a wife now and a mother. My husband was amazed at what he saw because we have been together for 7 years and not once has he seen me with make-up until i found your website. Keep up the great work, oh and by the way the cherry cola one is my favorite
for a base, i really like ulta’s base, it is only $6 or so, i got mine on sale for 4. it works really well and is inexpensive!
