I was very inspired by your Candy Collections so I decided to do some of my own starting with Twix Candy bar, I was wondering could you do a tutorial with your own rendition of the candy colors, i used golds and a muted yellow color with some smoky browns, I’ll include an pic so you can tell me what you think. Love this look. I especially like the technique you used with the eyeliner to accuntuate the outer v…will definately have to incororate that into my routine….its a good way to make use to the thousands of eyeliners I have lying around.

Marlene, this look is my favorite one yet. Question: I have bad skin (previous acne scars), and my make up (foundation/powder) always looks caky. I moisturize and I have tried diffrent brands of make up but they all do the same thing. Your sking looks so smooth. What do you recommend?
hey hun, i love all your tutorials thanks, i’m stil struggeling with blending dark eye shadows, and everytime i try to blend it with a brush it just fades and doesnt look as good, do u have any advise for me plz on how to blend the darker eye shadow(ex whil doing smokey eyes) so it doesnt look like its just smudge or dirty? i would realy apreciate your reply

yes, blending is tricky…I think not only do we need proper technique but also proper brushes

This look would be very nice to enter into fall… I would change the bottom rimming to brown and copper to take the look into fall.. then warm the lips with a deeper lip color.. BUT I love the look. I am olive undertone dark woman.. so the color is hot on me.. smile…
