Summer Coral Makeup

Hello my beautiful Makeup Geeks! Summer is here and so are all the warm summer colors that go along with it. Today I have a super easy and quick tutorial using all coral and peach shades. I wanted this look to be very monochromatic using basically the same shades on the whole face to give it a fresh, summer appearance. Since this look is so easy to do and uses only a few products, it makes it perfect to do when you are in a hurry or just want to add a pop of color to your look. So grab your coral and peach shades and have fun recreating this simple yet eye-catching look.

Love the coral on you! Just loving the peach/orange tone for the season! Xoxo
really pretty look! i really love your vids!
I am always scared of those real bright colors but this is an absolutely gorgeous look. I love the lippie too!
Gorgeous! I love your outfit as well, its bringing the pretty corals into focus!
I looooooved this look so much, especially the cheeks and how you applied the bronzer and the eyeshadows to the cheeks, so pretty and makes the whole look come together very nicely.
I would just like to say that I am so grateful for all your tutorials and that you are sharing your knowledge with us, I have learned so so much from you. I love your eyeshadows and hope to try the new lipsticks shortly, too. Your enthusiasm and devotion to what you do is clearly what makes your videos and products so great, I wish you all the very best in everything you do!
A gorgeous look! I have always favored peach/pink/corals together and I like how they are the focus of summer this year. Thanks so much for sharing as always – you are a wonderful teacher.
Love this look! Its so great for the summer.
And i am still waiting for someone to tell me what your haircolor is, b/c its a color i have been looking for.
Thanx for all your advise and videos they. I have learned alot.
I do this look using NYX Tropical.
Is it just me, but I didn’t like the flash pallette by MUFE. I bought one, but quickly returned it since it creased even with primer and packing on powder eyeshadow. Love the concept, so if they ever come out with Aqua Cream Flash Pallette, I’ll be all over it!
Is the YSL lipstick the Rouge Pur Couture, #36 Corail Legende?? I really like that color on you! I have similar coloring to you so I’m hoping it will look good on me too. Thanks for the tutorial!!
Love, love, love it !!
Wow! I love this look! I also love how you don’t just use bright colors on the lid! I’m very inspired!
Nice, love it !!! Hey Marlena where did you get the necklace??
I love your blog!!
I’m posting from Los Angeles, take a look on the windows of Rodeo Drive and our pictures in Palmdale!!

i love it. But what color eyeshadow would you suggest on the eye lid? Im not saying i hate the look but i think it would be better if the’re was some coraly color on the lid or maybe a soft pink. Which one would you think?
Love coralxD!!
I am a huge fan of you, Marlena!!
I am only 9 years old, but I love make up and my friends and family say I’m really good at it!
I loved the coral! But what make up should I use instead of the stuff you said looks better on tan skin? Cause I have really fair skin.
I loved how contoured your cheekbones were. The coral color suits you. Have you given any thought to creating a MUG liquid foundation in the future?
Thank you… But pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee can u shoot your vedios close enough so We can see what is going on ..love it..but please understand the problem. Thank you.
hate hate hate this look!!!!! OMG Marlena…….did u seriously go to school for this???
uh…rude much…
Well, I guess some people don’t agree with your rude opinion… -.-
By the way I was talking to becky, not tay… just to let you know
Thank you for posting inexpensive alternative products, I love this look for the summer thank you! Your looks are always amazing.
This is the kind of makeup that look nice on you but horrible on me…
i think this look is very stunning on you….i’ve tried it and its very pretty…:)
Marlena, i have to say you have been a life saver with my makeup…. i never really had a lot of practice and i have a friend that is awesome with her makeup and envied her makeup terribly. Your videos have changed my perspective. Although I don’t have the greatest access to the name brands, and walmart is almost my only store (except the ulta store that finally opened in the mall 45 minutes away), just the technique and tools info has done wonders!!!! Thank you. Thank you so much. Oh, and i was a small girl who has gained a lot of weight over the last two years and your videos made me that much more determined to lose… although i love almonds, apparently i have some type of allergy (which really sucks!!). But you are beautiful, bright, and you have definitely made a change in my life. Thank you!!
Absolutely gorgeous look! I would love some advice about bronzer for this look. I am very fair with slightly yellow undertones, and every bronzer I have tried ends up looking orange on me even when applied with a very light hand and blended. (We are talking oompa loompa orange – not a pretty look!) Any advice or recommendations?
You are the best make up artist I have ever seen. You really are a pleasure to watch. I am from the UK and I am sooooo going to be buying your range (just need to get paid)! Please don’t go anywhere- you are such an inspiration! x
