Hi Marlena! Like always, You look gorgeous. In your recent videos, you are using BB correcter rather than Makeupforever palette. Do you think BB correcter is better. Do you prefer Nars powder over BB shimmery compact. I like BE foundation and mineral veil. Should I use Nars powder on top for flawless look. Please suggest me.

I like the BB corrector better for under the eyes, but for acne or “trouble spots” on the face- MUFE is better. If you’re using BE foundation and Mineral Veil- you won’t need the Nars powder.

A good dupe for Copperplate was Avon True Color single shadow in Smokey Slate, but they ALWAYS have to discontinue things. So it’s gone… ebay has it.

to be honest I don’t like this look its a good technique but the white to black look is a little too harsh and it photographs poorly …love all the other looks though
it is very harsh with the white going to black- you could use a tan color or any light color to get the same effect with less harshness

Hi Marlena, My name is Merlesa and im 37 years old. I’m a traditional redhead, (auburn hair, hazel eyes and very pale skin) living in the desert in Australia. I have only just recently and i mean just recently started using makeup. I am a working mother of 4 boys and i never really had the time to do anything but now they are older and less reliant on me so i get to do more girly things. I just wanted to say that i absolutely love your site, you have taught me so much already. I spent all day Sunday just watching your tutuorials and have finally purchased some good quality makeup and brushes. Today i used a purple combo on my eyes and while i was out christmas shopping after work a friend who i havent seen in ages actually stopped and stared at me saying how beautiful i looked, she said she was so stunned that she forgot to get herselft a shopping basket and had to go back and get one. Another thing i noticed is how much attention i seem to be getting from the male gender……oh my husband of 16 years loves it too……

I’ve only got this one palette I got as a gift from Estee Lauder and some Rimmel and Maybelline ones but I found colors close to what you used and it worked out really great (even with my strangely gianormous Asian eyes that make makeup odd sometimes)! hi marlena. i love your videos, but i have noticed that you have started to “edit for length” to make the vids shorter and more concise, but i feel i am missing something when you do that. not that you are keeping secrets
but in a few vids you do everything in fast forward, and i like that approach much more. that way i can see what you are doing without missing anything that you have done, including going back for touch ups.
can you please do the latter rather than the former? i hope you take into consideration that the learning process is severely diminished, at least for me, when you cut from step to step.

not sure if it’s already been said or if it even matters. but when you go through the colors in the beginning you say the 3rd one is “scene” and that’s also what you wrote on the list of products. but once in the video you refer to the color as “print”. i actually bought print thinking that was the one you used. and i tried the look out using print and it looks great. afterwards i looked both colors up online and they are almost identical anyways. but just wanted to bring that to your attention, even for the future so people know those 2 are almost interchangeable

i have purchased the prestige waterproof eyeliner but it seems like they still smear. i thought it was my mascara but i just eyeliner on my bottoms lashes and it still did it.and also i can’t every get my water line to keep the eyeliner on it , it comes off. any advise would help thank you
