but i said that based on the swatches i saw of it on google and I had seen it before and was reminded of china blue when i saw it. I have never seen a swatch of it that looked crazy bright blue. sorry that happened to you!
the marine blue is a very very pretty blue, gorgeous, but i don’t think it compares to the blue she’s showing here!! oh well! nyx is cheap.

I am pretty new to this and I was wondering what do you do when you have a deep crease?
I put eye shadow in the crease but I feel like it can’t be seen because it is so deep. Should I bring the eye shadow higher up;what should I do?

I have the same problem, I feel like my lid is hidden when I open my eyes and is more hooded so it is hard to apply shadow above the crease without a weird shape?
Yep, bring it up a little higher so you can see it- be careful using dark shadows in the crease if your eyes are deepset (I’m doing video on this soon

Was just wondering what colour you would recommend as a dupe for the Nars China Blue shadow? They don’t sell Nars in my country (so sad…). If you could recommend a MAC shadow or Inglot shadow that would be great.

a good MAC dupe would be these:
- Contrast
- Shroom (or any other light champagne color for the tear duct)
- Brule (any color close to your skin for under the brow)
I want to personally thank you for putting up these instructional videos. I LOVE them! Learning how to apply make-up properly has given me much needed confidence and my husband loves that I feel sexier now! I am in love with this look! My best feature is my eyes and I have always used the same one colour eyeshadow which looks nice but I want something new! This is PERFECT!!!! This is super pretty. I would live to try it with some pink or purple for my blue eyes. Even bronzey colours would be nice. I am definitely going to do that white eyeliner thing. That looks awesome. My bottom lip is bigger too but it would be great to do on clients who have small lips or one bigger than the other.

Hi Marlena, after applying eyeshadow under the eye, how do you prevent your eyeshadow from falling down and looking like you’ve been punched! haha I love smuding under the eye but mine never stays. I have put the primer under my eye, but then it seems like I have too many things caked up in that area. thx
I use a waterproof eyeliner as a base then smudge the shadow on top of that

Great look and you look amazing! Will you do a video on how to do your face if you have melasma? I’m having a hard time w/ foundations, etc. Also, can you suggest a powder, bronzer that won’t emphasis the lines/wrinkles on my forehead. I have normal/dry skin and have noticed that some powders are settling into these lines on my forehead.
