Hi Marlena,
I love this look soo much. I am 14 years old and I live in the Uk. I recreated this look using purples and it looked great!! I used Barry M pigments in #90 (Pearly Mauve) and #59 (Lilac) and my sister’s palette from Claires Accesories to get a bluey purply colour! I hope you like it! Also, could you do a tutorial with your Barry M pigments because for us Gals in the Uk it is a good alternative to MAC. Thanks, I love your looks and I LOVE your studio! It looks so professional!

HI MARLENA! I first just wanted to say that your makeup channel on YouTube is simply AMAZING! I have yet to come across another makeup guru that is even half as great as you are. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the WONDERFUL videos. I & many many others appreciate it more than you can imagine

As for my question(s)…

I was in Sephora the other day & I noticed they had this HUGE makeup palette called the “Ultimate Blockbuster”, I was wondering if you thought this may be a wise investment considering the wide array of colors it offers & if the Sephora Branded products were of high quality in comparision to the ones you use (i.e. MAC, Coastal Scents, Urban Decay, etc.)

You can get one at any dug store for pretty inexpensive. I have a Maybelline angled eyeliner brush and it works perfect! It was only $3.00 from Wal-mart.

I love this look, I am always looking for ideas to do with blues and purples! I saw the look in the Sephora catalog and immediately started trying to create a look like that with my own products. I then watched your video and that was another twist to the look! I walked into Sephora the other day and everyone LOVED the look. I combined elements of the three looks my eyes popped without being too overly dramatic! I love the fresh twist of classic looks you bring to the table! Thank you soo much Marlena!!!

Also, I am trying to do a look with glittery gold and venetian-ish blue, any ideas?
