I love this purple look. Purple is my favorite color. I was hoping you could help me out with something. I hope this is where I should post this question. My face gets very flushed. I should just say RED. My cheeks, chin, and forehead. This is not from rosecea or anyother skin problem, i get warm and turn very red and stay that way most of the day. I want so badly to find a product to cover it up while still having a somewhat natural looking face. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I watch all of your videos. I also heard you say you were coming to Chicago in April, which is where i live, i would love more info. thanks you have been a great help to me and im sure many others too.

First–absolutely LOVE this look…I have green eyes and this would really make them really POP! Haven’t gotten my pallets yet, but soon. I love all tips along with inspiration you provide in your videos and blog encouraging every woman to be her best self with products both top notch and affordable. Thank you! BTW, I am a few months from 40!
Second — REGARDING WHERE TO BUY THE 88 PALETTE (or others): I spent about 2 hours on eBay just last night (yes I have no life) studying all the sellers, prices of 1 particular palette (the 78 v.2 palette), and if I would save money over Coastal Scents. Simply, the answer is NO. Shipping from sellers (most in China) is usually $10, making the palette at CS approx same price. However, if you are buying more than one palette, shipping on a second item from the eBay seller is usually about $5 so you may save some money if buying more than one, but not that much.
That being said, on eBay you are usually buying these palettes from China. If you are buying from http://www.Coastalscents.com you are supporting a small AMERICAN business–usually for about the SAME PRICE (all things considered). However, IMO I do think that CS’s base shipping prices start a little high if you are just buying small items (but the palettes ARE big).
Considering how much Coast Scents saves the average consumer on brushes, quality mineral make up, great gel liners, core materials, recipes w/videos to make makeup/bath bombs/lotions yourself, and so on—why not BUY AMERICAN? This is a small business that is really trying to help those of us who don’t have a ton of $$$ and even giving tips on how to make a little money on the side if we are so inclined.
I have to say that I am not in anyway affiliated with Coastal Scents (or anyone else), I live in Michigan, and have yet to make a purchase from CS (but it wil be this week!). Hope this helps!

KiMatrix, the palettes from Coastal Scents are also from China — they are from the same manufacturer.
And maybe today is a bad day, but typically there are some sellers that will beat Coastal Scents even with shipping. (Some are from the US)
We appreciate your comments though and the fact that you want to promote US sellers.

Only found you a few weeks ago and have bookmarked your all your tutorials on utube.
Went out to a party on Saturday and used nearly the same colours to match my dress.
Turned 50 last week and it was the first time I used more than 2 colours on my eyes.

I really love all ur tutorials..Every look you do is just perfect..I’ve tried a lot already, for party’s, for school..for a lot of things actually..I’m one of those person that doesn’t only uses bright colors for party’s, but also for a “norma”..Of course some looks I’ve to tone it down a little..hahahah..I love to experiment with colors and here I get a lot of inspiration on what to do next..!!

Have you checked out the MUFE Micorperfecting Primer? It comes in a green and it has a lot of good reviews from people with different redness issues. Check Sephora because they’ll have a bunch of reviews you can read. Just FYI, I doubt very seriously that you’re going to find a product that completely blocks out your coloring. It would look horribly unnatural and mask-like. I don’t think you want that. However, some color-correcting base/primers can really help tone down redness, so best of luck!! Hope you find a product you love!
PS ~ Do you drink a lot of water? This is gonna sound strange, but try drinking a glass (or half a bottle) of cold water when your face first flushes up and then another about 20 min later. It may help counteract that reaction.
