Hi Marlena ! I really love this look, it’s gorgeous !
Anyway, I already have bought “Morroco” on Cherryculture (I’m waiting for the delivery), and I’m glad to hear that’s a beautiful color !
I’m wondering something : why don’t you show the NYW boxes to the camera (as you do for MAC e/s) ? I’d like to see these colors too
(P.S. : excuse my bad english, I’m from France !)

MAC Dupes:
-Da Bling
-Passionate or Fuschia pigment
-Shroom or White Frost or Solar White
Under the lower lashline- any purple color will do
This look utterly perfect! UGH *jealous*. Amazing work!!
Hi, I love ur pink look (well all of them). I am new to makeup (well not very new), I have most of the colours either in velvet or satin finish some are with shimmer and some are without, well a mixture of both. I am going shopping 2mrw and I wanted to know what else I can buy, I want some colours by MAC? because sometimes when I apply makeup it looks like a big bundle of shimmer, should I purchase matte colours, if so which ones?
Keep up the god work.
Thankz
ps. can you please reply when you get time as I can write the colours down and wonder of shopping
This look is very very pretty indeed. I can’t wait to practice it on me and my friends. Thanks a lot for the tutorial. You’re a star!
I LOVE this! Going to try it tommorrow. You pull it off flawlessly!
Preeeetttyyyy!!!!! Now all I need are pink e/s!!
ok heres what i want to know…
face makeup and all of it???
hi,
Marlene i think your well pretty. and your looks are all great, and really helpful.
thing is i dont have much MAC makeup (bit pricey for me) was just wondering if the looks you do are possible with any other type of makeup?
also i was wondering if you can do an everyday natural look-because i’ve tried but cant get it right! ;-(
HELP!
thankyou.
hope to hear from you!
x
Yep- any of the looks can be done with whatever brand you have or like- I try to hold up the colors so you can match it the best you can
Arshi, the best matte or satin ones that i like by mac are:
-Purple Haze
-Espresso
-Cork
-Rule
Liz, did I wear all the products listed? Yes… The emote blush is to contour the cheekbones while the pinky blush is for blush
Hi Marlena,
First of all I would like to congratulate you for your expertise, truly one of a kind. I love all of your tutorials, I am starting out in makeup and I currently do not use Mac products, I love Bare Escentuals. Would you mind telling me which brushes would you recommend from Bare Escentuals as a must. For example you mention the MAC 217 brush, which brush would that be in Bare Escentuals?
Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!
Regards,
Zahra
heyyyy
is it possible you do a natural everyday look that doesnt take very long???
thnx
x
Sure can- I have one that I did today that was pretty natural (minus some glitter in the inner corner)…
Zahra, I know the tapered shadow brush is good from BE as well as the angled blush brush, but besides those, I can’t think of any dupes for the MAC ones… If you were to get just a couple MAC ones, I would get the 217 and either 239 or 219- those are the most versatile…
Marlena,
I have a feeling that Mac’s 239 and 219 looks like a tapered shadow brush, or the BE Double-Ended Precision Brush http://store.bareescentuals.com/Double-Ended+Precision+Brush/30899,default,pd.html?cgid=BE_SUB_EYE_BRUSH&deleteUUID= which will take care of those two. Now Mac’s 217 brush resembles the BE Blending Brush, http://store.bareescentuals.com/Blending+Brush/26388,default,pd.html?cgid=&deleteUUID= do you think it sounds accurate?
Thanks for your help!!!!!!

This look reminds me of your Glinda from Wicked look except it’s a bright light pink. I’m sure Glinda would not mind wearing this look since pink is her signature color. This look is as beautiful as the Glinda look and you did a beautiful version of the look in the picture. So thank you for doing a great tutorial on one of my favorite looks on your site.
