Makeup Tutorial: Taylor Swift (“Teardrops on My Guitar”)
In her video “Teardrops on My Guitar“, Taylor Swift wears gorgeous shimmery makeup with crystals and a soft aqua color on her eyes. Here’s an interesting video showing you how to create this beautiful look!
I have to admit this was one of my favorites of all the tutorials I have done so far and was very happy with how well it turned out. I loved it so much, I talked my husband into going out for a fancy dinner date to show it off

awesome…u r soo good with whatever u do…:-) i juss wanna know one thing.i have very oily lids..i use urban decay primer potion…could u please tell if i can use pearl cream colour base over UDPP and would it still crease..if yes then what other alternative u suggest fr the white shimmery base over urband decay.
ooh.. let me try it and see- I’m not sure… Can you post the question in the forum and see if someone would know? I can try it out tomorrow and let you know, but my lids are sort of dry, so not sure how accurate my “review” would be

I did this look today with Alima Cosmetics line. I used Ocean all over, smoke in the outter corner and crease, pearl on inner upper crease. along with some vanilla on the outter brow bone. I didn’t do the lash line like your in your video. I will continue doing this look for a few days. I went and got some of the water proof eyeliners today.

Thank you for that video of Taylor’s intervew on Teen Vogue. I thought it was funny of her to say that she gets mesmerized @ watching girls do her make-up for “Tears on my Guitar” video. Speaking of that video, Taylor’s crush in the video is a fool for picking the other girl he kissed instead of poor Taylor. Anyways, I can’t believe that it’s been almost a year since Marlena did this tutorial. First of all Marlena, you are still number one in copying Taylor’s look & you look stunning in this look as well. Second of all, this look is still great for any occasion- weddings, proms, the coming of age parties like debutaunt balls & quinceneras, sweet 16, & like you did, go out with your man out to a fancy dinner date.

Marlena, you ROCK. I have to do a look on a classmate for a final project – tonight’s practice night. Her coloring would make this look TOTALLY AWESOME on her – so I’m going to give it a try! I’m not going to do the crystals on her until the final night when we do the live application in front of the class, tho – eep! lol.
