    Im new to makeupgeek, i really liked this video.I also wanted to know the shades that are best suited for brown skin tone ,as i am struggling with selecting the right shades and i always endup getting maroon or red, i want to try something new. Hope you can suggest me something new.

    Hi Lalitha :)

    I’m not sure what brand you use/prefer, but I absolutely LOVE mac’s “Amber Lights” on darker skin tones- it’s gorgeous! Golds, purples, teals, just about any color would look great on you! To add some depth to the outer V, use a color like “Black Tied” or “Carbon”- black tied is easier to work with than carbon though…

    I have heard you say in previouse videos, that if we really want a color to pop we could use a black base. can i use macs fluidline in blacktrack?

    Sure can!

    I use Enkore’s method- baby shampoo and a clean kitchen sponge ;)

    Yep- just make sure you have a good base underneath it so it doesn’t crease (like Urban Decay Primer Potion)

    The problem I tend to run into is that I have very pale skin and the combinations of colours that tend to be used in videos always make me look like someone punched me in the eye. The contrast between my pale skin and the colours is too much. Which is a shame, cuz I would love to have these looks on my face :(

    Just wanted you to know that you are the best! I am NEW to makeup so your informative tutorial was extremely helpful for me. I am very fair so I think the neutral colors would work perfect for me. I would LOVE LOVE to see a hair video as well, my hair is the same length as yours with layers so any hair advice would really be helpful as well. You are beautiful by the way :)

    I love how thorough you were in explaining this look. Which mode of eyeliner app minimizes the size of the eye? is it the thicker the line, the smaller the eye appears or vice versa? Thanks =)

    The thicker the eyeliner, the smaller the eyes look- generally. You could pull off a thicker line on upper lashes, and none on bottom and it wouldn’t be too bad :)

    I loooove this look! I love putting brown and pink together! I did this the other day, but I am horrible at trying to do the V part… I think my eyes are too small or something. So I just barely put it on the outside. I ordered the 78 piece from Coastal Scents yesterday! I can’t wait to try it out! I’m gonna use this look and probably several others! Lol!!

    I just wanted to say that you are truley amazing at this make up art.
    Sadly I am just starting out with this hole make up thing and i tried out this look and others but my out look turns up ooking like i got punched in the face I dont know what I am doing wrong I love the looks my fav is the smokie eyes I practise everyday but nothing I still look like I got in a major fight. My question is can you do something a little more basic typish for slow people like me:( i really would love to do my make up creative and beautiful like you.
