Great video! I live in Miami so bronzey looks are always good
Also, love the song at the end of the video…hadn’t heard it in a while
hi, i discovered your website about a month ago and have been addicted ever since! i check constantly for new tutorials. =)
one thing i’ve become obsessed with is your cheeks/cheekbones! (i’ve watched that tutorial multiple times!) they’re gorgeous! i dug up my emote after being inspired by you (i’m NC 25 in studio fix fluid), but I can never get my contour application to look like yours! i started with the mac 168 brush and then tried the coastal scents angled brush (then saw that you said it was too stiff) and then went and purchased the bare escentuals angled brush that you use! still~i can’t get the color to spread and go on smoothy like yours looks-mine always looks like a line or streaky even though i do exactly what you say to do. =( i’m not sure if it’s the lighting/camera, but your contour always looks perfect-i like that there’s a fairly big area of color so it looks natural. it seems like when you put the brush to your face, the color just instantly applies a lot of smoothly and evenly. i don’t know what the problem is! anyway, if you have any suggestions, i’d be grateful!
i like that you tried laguna today! once again, looks perfect as usual! although, i do think laguna applies more easily than emote…anyway, thanks for your tutorials!! you’re great!!
Hi Michelle
Try picking up just a small amount on your brush, do the fish face
and apply just under the cheekbone. If you see a streak, go over your face with a kabuki brush to buff out the color and smooth it out a bit. See if that helps
I really like the pink lips with this bronze look!
Is Satin Taupe an alternative to Bronze?
Great!!!
You are a very good teacher for me. Normally i don´t use my Shimmerbrick but I´ll try to aply again!
Revlon makes a quad eyeshadow that’s almost exactly the same colors as what you used, and I’ve just been using 2 colors out of it. So I’m glad there’s a way to use them all and make it look great! I’m going to try it out and see if it looks good.
And I’m glad to see how you used the bronzer. They always say to use it on your cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin, good to see a different way.
Hi Susanne,
A good alternative for Bronze would be Woodwinked- Satin Taupe may look good too though
great tutorial.
which e/s is an alternative to wedge?
Hi Sandra !
You could use Omega, Kid, Cork- any light to medium matte or satin finish brown will work

I love your demonstrations. I am in my 50’s and would like to know what I can do to keep my lipgloss or lipstick from bleeding? I know I’m probably older than your usual makeup geeks, but we baby boomer want to look fabulous too!
Keep your tutorials coming, they are fabulous!!!!
xoxo
Someone is wearing my earrings….
wouldn’t it look that good if u had first added the espresso and then the wedge n then blend them instead of putting the wedge first n then the shroom n then the espresso?
You can put them on in whatever order you like- doesn’t really matter as long as it’s all blended well…
You are sooo pretty ive bn watching all your stuff on utube but ive tried some of your looks but im so stupid i cant get it maybe its because i have a different shaped face and no makeup brushes.
Hi Marlena,
I love the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick that you use. I’m thinking of getting one. I’m dark indian skin tone. Can you please tell me which one I should get? I have checked the bobbi brown website, they have rose, pink, peach, bronze, beige?
Thanks
Where did you get that beautiful pink ring?
