YAY! I love it! I’ll have to try this. I am so not a morning person and find very little time in the morning to do my makeup…sometimes I do it in the car, or I wait until I get to the office. This is perfect for me!
cool..i love the look its super natural and pretty
thanks
I like it. It is very natural and it looks great on you. I love your videos. You help me everyday what makeup to wear.
I absolutely love your makeup. Thank you for making this wonderful website. I was planning on hiring a makeup artist for my wedding next year but when I called around the prices were totally out of my budget… ($350 for the bride and $1000 that we had to spend). That cost more than my wedding dress! anywho I actually found you by chance when I was searching for Kim Kardashians make up look on youtube. and there you were. I was soooooooooooo happy. you are sooooo fabulous for putting up those tutials. I hope by next year I will be good enuff to do my own makeup! Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart! love, juls
Beautiful!!!! You are the best..
Thanks for all the tutorials!
Thanks so much all for the kind comments! And Juls, you WILL be good enough by the time you get married
It just takes practice, and you’ll do great!
Hi Marlena,
Just wanted to say that I love your tuts. I’ve seen your pics on Specktra and have tried out your techniques. Love them…thanks for sharing. What I would really like to know is..your Naturals palette. What are the colours in it? It’s fantastic!
Cheers,
Kat
Hi Kat
I’ve actually had several requests for my natural palette, so I’m doing a video tomorrow on what’s in them
Along with an article/review over them
Hi Marlena, i been watching all ur tutorials ur sooo good..wow!! i was wondering if u can do a tutorial using dark blue colours. im going 2 a wedding in 2 weeks and have no idea how 2 do my eyes…sigh..PLEASE HELP!! thanks!!

Love this look! This is exactly what I needed for work. Thanks =)
Btw, what’s the song on this vid? Sounds really good.
It’s by Barlow Girl “Never Alone”
Thanks M…look forward to seeing it. In fact, would love to see ALL your stuff, brushes included :- )
Kat
Great tutorial again! Thanks.
You must try MAC’s Plushlash, it is my favourite mascara and I reach awesome results with it!
Can you make a video tut with MAC MES?
Mineralized eyeshadows? Like the ones from the Flashtronic collection?
Yes, from Flashtronic (esp. Ether and Mercurial) or Antiquitease last year.
I have both of those
Which do you prefer?
hi Marlena
.
i been watching all your videos and all so fantasticccccc.
But i have a other question to you too i like your yuweliers like your ring in this video,i am from germany but maybe if you can say me the brand name i could chek it out.
i am sorry for my english
thank you for all of your tutorials.
Sorry for answering so late. I would love to see a tutarial using MES Ether!
I don’t think the remotely grey e/s is available anymore – is there another color you would recommend? I have blue eyes and fair skin so I don’t want anything too dark. Thanks, your tutorials are great!
What color should I look for from the drugstore to get this look, I am a Latina?
Hi Marlena,
You are my new hero! I am so horrible when it comes to make up and you give me hope! haha. But I have a question, the collection of eyeshadow that you use with all the different colors in it, cork, brule, vanilla, etc. You showed it a lot in the Kat Von D video and some others too. Where did you get that and what is it called? I’m assuming its MAC but how can I buy it? There isn’t a MAC store where I live. Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for doing this look! I work at Disney, so my makeup has to look really natural, but I don’t like walking around work bare-faced or with just some eyeliner and mascara on! I will definitely wear this look a lot in the future!
What sub. for remotely grey.. I’m very tan skin-tone… Thanks.
Hi, first I want to say that your tutorials are fabulous. They have been great help. thanks. I have a question about foundation coverage. I tend to break out often and have numerous blemishes. wat would u recommend me to use? There is MAC full coverage Foundation, which is a creamy substance, and the Studio Fix liquid. Wat should I buy?
sooo pretty, i adore this look! def something i will try, thank you for sharing!
Hello there-
Let me just say that I adore your make-up styles! You’re so versatile!
I have Dark Brown almost Black eyes, and I was wondering what
L’OREAL creme eyeliner would look best suited for me–black or brown??
I’m only in my teens, and I need something that won’t look too overdone.
Plus, my eyelids get extremely oily, and I was wondering if you have any
primers that could be found sold at Walgreens or Wal-mart?
Hi Marlena!
I love your tutorials! I am sooooooo glad i found this website, it really helps a lot. I really liked the look you did here for a quick, natural eye. I went out and got right away all the colors you used for the eyes…love it. It looks almost as good when I do it now:)
I was wondering if you could give me any other natural day look eye combination using the same technique? i am sometimes not sure which colors to match, that would really help me. Some more combos would be great, absolutely no tutorials needed ( i know it takes you a while to do them), just so I can switch it up!
Thank you
rebecca
love love love your diff looks – esp the holiday one! can’t believe you don’t wear false lashes – you have the prettiest eyes! i wish i had lashes/eyes like that. love the detailed info including brand name and color; have seem some other tutorials, and just get frustrated if they don’t name the color and brand, and i have to find a substitute- i need it to be as brainless as possible, since i’m a mom of 4!! thanks again – you are so pretty!
I love Barlow Girl I saw them live at Rock of Ages concert in Calistoga when I used to live in California =) This is a perfect look for everyday I prefer the natural look thank you soooo so much!
I know you said you used the Rubanesque Paintpot on your lid for this look but did you also apply your usual painterly piantpot all over your lid..even where the highlight color goes?
I guess I’m just wondering if before you apply eyeshadow, do you put a neutral base all over, where the highlight color goes too??
<3
I love this natural simple look
thanks a lot dear
Wow I think I should wear makeup more often! She always looks so pretty! And makes it look so easy! Bah! Keep it real, STacy Z.
Marlena,
I am dark skinned and I was curious to know if ok to use dark brown eyeliner
J
nice look!
i loooove this look! i’m so bad at natural eye makeup, i tend to always go more in the dramatic glam direction but i often feel a little silly coming to work at 10am with like pounds of makeup on lol this is perfect though, and really easy
thank you, yet again, for another amazing tutorial! you’re awesome!
i cant find remotely grey on mac’s UK website. any other suggestions?
i love your ideas i wonder how u get them
CAN U DO SOMETHING FOR BACK TO SCHOOL????? that would be so totally AWSOME!!!
