love the colors together.. another great Tutorial..
I noticed you use pearl base alot.. is it sparkly or shimmery.. when you apply your eyeshadow to it, does it change
the texture of your shadow??? I like matte’s in my crease and didnt want shimmery in the crease if it changed the look
of the eyeshadow..
thanks
michele
I usually use the cream base when I want a little shimmer- if you’re going for a completely matte look, I would use Painterly paintpot or Benefit’s Lemonaide
The pearl base is a little shimmery- not too much though.
Hi Marlena! Great tutorials! I’m 33, Asian, with a slight monolid, and a complete novice at applying makeup. I watched this video and was kinda bummed when you fast forwarded through the part where you blended Club on your eyelid crease. I know you’re only allowed 10 minutes on YT; so, I was wondering if you could tell just me what you did. Did you make light upward strokes? I’m trying to see if I would be able to do this to fake a crease on my eyes. The MU turned out so beautiful!
Thanks for the wonderful vids!

Hi Sharon
This look would be perfect for you! It really does create a nice crease
I used MAC’s 228 brush and basically “drew” on a line where my crease was, then blended up. You want to make sure that it is blended up more on the outer part of your lid. Then, you can take a fluffy dome brush to blend out the line just under the brow.
I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for the reply, Marlena! You made perfect sense! I’ll try this out this weekend. I’ll be turning 34 on May 11th. That should be a great excuse to go all out and get funky!
xo,
Sharon

this is very pretty! marlen, i just have a quick question? how did you organized the names of shadows in your palette? thanks so much for the tut!
Awesome looks, great work! where do you get your palets for the different hues?? I would like to purchase them but not as individual shadows.
