The colors fig 1 en rose blanc are that colors from an older collection?
I can not find that colors here. I hope saterday i can find them in Amsterdam. There is a pro store of mac.

HI Jolanda,
Fig 1 is available in the regular line and rose blanc is discontinued, but you just need a light colored shimmer. If you can’t find Fig 1, try to get Shadowy Lady

what’s the difference between vanilla pigment and vanilla eyeshadow (both from MAC)?

Vanilla pigment is a loose powder and is shimmery- it’s more versatile as you can use it to highlight the cheekbones, dab on the lips for some shine, or use as an eyeshadow. The Vanilla eyeshadow is pressed and is a satin finish with a little more creamy white color to it. HTH!

hey i have a request…you should do a look using the hot & sultry eyeshadows from the summer by night collection from MAC that just came out.
i wanna get it but i don’t know if the burgundy color would look good on me.

If you’re looking for a good burgandy, I would try Cranberry or Plum Dressing 
I checked MAC’s site- I guess it’s their promotion of already existing items. The burgandy color Trax is a difficult one to pull off- it tends to look muddy

Let me do a bit of research- I want to make sure I don’t recommend the wrong ones…. But, I know “highlight” could replace Rose Blanc and “black” could replace Carbon. The others may be a bit tricky, but I’ll see what I can do

I learned by practice, practice, practice! I haven’t worked for MAC- I once wanted to, but the closest counter is 45 minutes away… And with gas prices, it wouldn’t be worth it
that’s how I learned how to do make-up also. I love to see other make-up artists tips and tricks and your techniques reminds me so much of how the people at MAC apply make-up. That’s why I had to ask you that. I’ve wanted to work for MAC also, but like you, the closest one is about 40 mins away.
I do have a question for you……when doing a smokey eye do you find it better to do your concealor and foundation after your eye make-up application? I find even when doing the tape trick or constantly wiping the fallen shadow the skin and undereye area just doesn’t look the same. Thanks for you help>

I think your makeup looks amazing, much better than J-Lo’s! Also you make it look so easy, I only have the confidence to use two colours on my eyes as they are small I struggle to use more but really want to start experimenting. Also do I need to change the colours to suit my skin? I am Indian/Asian, I have a yellow/brown toned skin.

I love your tutorials. This one you did using the Jennifer Lopez look is so pretty. There is only one thing I find for me could be a bit better in your vids is the lighting. It looks very yellow to me and I think it would be easier to see you if you added more light around you. Just a suggestion. =)
