It’s similar to cherry blossoms, which I also love. I’ve always had a hard time thinking of cute ways to use pink and white shadows without it looking to sugary, but you make it look so pretty and artistic and sweet without being too much.
BTW I recreated the ashanti look you did this past weekend for an event I had to go to and got sooo many compliments on it

So I did it and LOVE it. I didn’t have any of the stuff you used, so I imporived, but it looks SO good! My yellow was a problem, so it’s a little different, but it works. LOVE IT! <3

Hi Marlena! I have been watching several of your tutorials and this is the first time I actually dared myself to send you a quick message. Your very fair skin but like me, im a medium tone so some colors feel like they dont look as well as they do on you. Any suggestions on medium skin tone? I love eyeshadows but dont know if I can pull the colors off sometimes. Also I saw the web site to brush111.com for Mac brush sets very cheap too. Here’s my request… could you please do a tutorial on how you use your brushes… ie. how to pick up product with different brushes, do you use the tip of the brush or flat part and why, how do you hold your brush, how much product are you picking up, do you dab in the product or swipe the brush across the product etc. I know you do show us on most of your videos but I’d like a more indepth video on just that alone. As for this look, I have dresses that go with this look. About the lipstick, I have warm, medium skin tone & I’m worried that the lipstick that you wore in this video will look too pale & cool toned for me. Any other pink lipstick shades would you recommend for my skin tone? Thank you.

I had to tell you that I loved this look and when you raved about the Fresh Morning cream base and how it wasn”t shimmery for highlighting the cheek area I knew I had to get it. I’ve been looking for something like this and so I ordered it off ebay. I received it today and I absolutely love it. It is perfect for me. I will be using this all the time. I just stumbled upon your video’s on youtube today…I’ve never felt very confident with applying makeup, you are a natural! I have big eyes and the video you posted really helped me, however my one problem is choosing colours, my eyes are a light blue and I feel limited because my eyes are also quite big. My question is: What colours should I use? Does hair colour matter? I have blond hair and I am very pale. Thank you!
