I feel sad cause I don’t have a store near by that sells MAC, I just found a portuguese website where I can buy NYX products, really cheap but they take a lot to arrive –’ Actually I ordered Round Lipstick in “Ceto” and I want to know you’re opinion about that color. What do you think?
I’ll need to pull out that color- if I remember right it’s a little shimmery which I’m not a fan of, but the color is pretty
I’d put a little gloss on top to cut back on the shimmer 
When I found the website I realized the swatches didn’t match with those in NYX’s website and I got confused…I actually didn’t know it would be shimmery. Then I found you’re swatches here and it got more clear but the order was done so…
I’ll try that tip with lipgloss. I like the megashine (?) lipgloss from NYX. What color do you think it would match with Ceto?

Hi Marlena! I love your looks. I have learned so much from you! I am sure that you have been asked this a lot but, I have very oily skin and within an hour I look like an oil slick on my face. And it feels disgusting. My routine in the morning is washing my face, moisturize, prime with the Monistat anti chaffing gel, Color stay foundation put on with a brush, and then set with a translucent powder, powder bronzer, blush. But even with all of that preperation I have a very blotchy face at the end of the day. What products would you recommend for me or do any different. I need full coverage because of redness and uneven skin tone. I am not a fan of the dewy look because I always have it no matter what! So I want a matte finish. Thank you so much!

For one day try going without the Monistat primer to see if it helps, but also if you’re fairly oily, you may need to switch to Mineral foundations esp for the warmer months. The Revlon Colorstay is the most matte liquid foundation I know of, and the powder should help some. On hot days I’ll bring some blotting sheets with me to touch up in the afternoon to help keep the oil at bay…

If you touch your face alot that may compromise the finish on your makeup also. the oils in your hands plus the fact that our hands carry lots of dirt and other things can be the cause of so many skin issues. Once I got this info and really noticed the difference, I noticed less oilyness, breakouts, and makeup malfunction.

I’m using #60 and it’s a dead wringer for the NARS Sheer Glow in Barcelona! I’m loving it so much! I’ll mix it sometimes with the Revlon Colorstay for a mix between dewy and matte finish

I think for pores you’ll want to use a toner in your skin care routine (apply after you wash your face and before you moisturize), then use a primer under your foundation. I really like Clinique’s Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

MAC is expensive but it worth the price, the pigment is amazing, the texture is the best nice and smooth!

Marlena, I need help! I’m getting so discouraged! I need foundation because I don’t have the best skin, but every time I apply it, it creases in my “expression lines” bordering my mouth. I am 16, by the way. I am using Palladio Herbal Foundation Primer, but it still happens. Any suggestions? Please, help!
How are you applying your foundation? It sounds like you may be using a little too much at one time- try applying in thin layers adding more only if you need it. You can use a sponge to blend if needed

I have a question, though. I have a really hard time applying eyeliner in the upper waterline, so it’s the first thing I do (after applying foundation and all that). Is that ok? Because I have to really touch my eyelids and if I don’t do it this way I’ll smudge the hole thing up. Is there an easy way, or is it ok what i’m doing?
And, would you recomend the waterproof eyeliners by MAC? I have a L’oreal one, which is quite long lasting and not as runny as others i’ve tried. I know you talked about the Urban Decay ones, but they don’t ship outside the US. Do you know a place that ships to Argentina, or some good eyeliners?
And again, thank you for all the cool videos you do. All that i’ve learned is from you, I’m even better than a friend of mine that used to help me with my smokey make up!

I use eyeshadow to fill in my brows, but for the very bald spots, I like using the little skinny MAC brow twist-up pen thingy. It is so great, but runs out so quickly. What do you recommend in terms of eyebrow pencils?

you can re-use them mostly. i try and take some of the glue off and i re-use mine

For Eyeshadows I use black from Sleek make up Original i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette.
For natural -Clinique colour surge eye shadow quad 102 Spicy (use same colour as your skin)
Blush – Clinique 20 Bashful Plum
Lip – Givenchy 03 blush shine with Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect Pink Trench 257 or Estee Lauder 117 Rose Tea with Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect 437.
Eyeliner – Dior Crayon Khol Noir black 099
