  1. LOVE…LOVE…LOVE how this came out. I have the green duo and I wasn’t quite sure how to work with it. Thanks Marlena for this helpful tutorial. You look gorgeous as always!!!

  2. Great video!! Love the colors! Just something I learned from panacea81 on YouTube…if you roll the shadestick bt your hands (like rolling it back and forth with both hands) it will warm up the shadestick and make it roll on much more creamy! I do it all the time and it makes it work 10 times better.

  3. Awesome! I love Fresh Green Mix and this look! ;) I must organize a Sharkskin Shadestick for me.

  4. Beautiful! I thought I was the only one with the shadestick problem… Thanks for the tip Elizabeth, I’m gonna try that today

  5. that is gorgeous! your blending is unreal.

  6. Looks beautiful ! You always do a good job. I did a similar look a couple of days ago, but your camera quality looks a lot nicer and shows the colors better !

  7. great look!
can you recommend nyx colors for this look.? thanks!!

  8. Gosh!Every color looks wonderful on you!I loovve it!

  9. Hi, Marlena! I am humble and utterly grateful for taking time from your busy schedule to fulfill not only my Glinda request, but also a tut on my favorite Wicked character and username, Elphaba. You have made my week because of your amazing “Wicked” tribute. It’s like finally an Elphaba look for normal color skinned people like you and me. The Glinda look is stunning, elegant and classy. The Elphaba look is alluring, mysterious and sexy. I am looking forward to try these looks and I hope that I’ll be able to show you and our fellow make-up geeks what I look like in these looks someday. A million thanks to you, Marlena for a fabulous Wicked Week!

  10. Hi Marlena,

I love the look it is so doable for day and night time looks 10/10.
Can you please suggest tips or even do a look for how to look younger?

  11. Marlena,
Another winner! I love this look and can’t wait until my birthday now…(I know I’m getting the Fresh Green Mix). What do you think about using Delft p/pt as a base?
    Dee

  12. Beautiful Marlena!!! Just wondering if you’ve ever used the NYX black crayon and if it would work the same as sharkskin?

  13. Hi marlena! this is great! i do have a question though, when you say “clean off the brush” or “take a clean brush” are you actually using a “new” fresh brush? or or just wiping the colors from the brush off on tissue?

  14. Yep- the NYX crayon should work just as well- it’s more creamy so make sure to put a base underneath to prevent creasing.

Kristine, I wipe off the brush on an old, clean hand towel :)

  15. Delft would be beautiful under this :) Delft looks good under anything ;)

  16. I have to say marlena! you’ve help me become more confident with doing my make-up! thanks soooo much for the video tutorials, they truly truly help a LOT!!!!

    R.

  17. You do such a great job on all your looks - I’m so impressed! I never knew about making brights pop with a dark base, that is something I will definitely be trying.
