I really like this look. BUT i think the lighting is off a little. the colors just look a little funny. Other than that, Marlena, beautiful as always! Love the colors!

I took a 3/4 barrel curling iron and wrapped marlenas hair around the iron away from her face in sections on either side. Then I finger combed them out and spritzed them with pureology hairspray. I usually go back through and curl a few individual pieces just to make it slightly more polished.

But… the shadows in that are shimmery, and if you want to pull off something this dramatic, it’s a bit much with that intense colors plus shimmer

Elf cosmetics are very hit or miss… I like their brushes for the most part, and like their bronzer/blush duo. I hated their facial whip and their lip products. OH, and their liquid liner is pretty good
For deep set eyes, you should wear lighter shimmery shadows on the lid to make them not seem as deep set

I still have some acne flares up lately which is frustrating 
But, I’ve been using Dermalogica’s line and Nuvaderm’s Benzoyl Peroxide as treatment for the acne- it works pretty good, but I’m still looking for the perfect fix!
In response to your acne flare up. There is a line by Paula Begeon at cosmeticcop.com. It is very reasonably priced and she explains why you need to use a Salysilic Acid(BHA) product in conjucntion with a Benzyl-peroxide to get results. She uses scientific studies to back her claims and she also recommends other brands that can be purchased in the drug store that are equally effective. Worth Trying and huge difference in the price tag from what your using that may not even be effective. You can read her reviews on the products your using also to see why it may not be working for you.

like always your tutorials are so helpful to try something new and exited. I would like to ask what would you do to help with dry skin, I tried so many things and products and drink lots of water and still my side of my nose and between my eyebrows are my main dry parts, I stop using makeup remover and started using virgin olive oil to remove my makeup and love the filling but when I wash my skin still feels dry. and also, I would like to see if you can make some tutorials on the New York Urban Decay pallet . Thanks and like always you look stylish, love your highlights on your black hair

She definitely pushes the envelope when it comes to her colors. Plus the shadows are very pigmented and each palette comes with a great collection of shadows that can be used together to create fun and edgy looks. Hope that helps

Yep- you can reuse, just make sure to clean really well with eye makeup remover and warm water. And I use the Duo Lash Adhesive- is the only one that works well for me

I ALWAYS fail at trying to recreate looks, so i always end up spinning in my own way but thats not what i want.. I would love to be able to recreate the look but here’s my problem… when i am doing the look how i think it would be done, it just doesnt look right to me, usually the shape that it has made. Any ideas to help or maybe its just cuz its not fully finished? Idk i always just stop and wash it off when it doesnt look right, when the shape looks funny, and then i always seem to go back and do the same kinda look(which for me is sharped edge cut crease… ) I like the dramatic kinda looks but i know there are different ways to do makeup…
