Get Noticed and L’Oreal Look

Hi Makeup Geeks!

I have a fun contest for you guys, and you know I don’t do these very often.  But the prize on this is AMAZING and pretty easy to do.  You will create a look using L’oreal products and submit it to their facebook page here.   The look with the most votes will win a trip to NYC, get your picture taken to be put in national magazines, and get a 5 year supply of their cosmetics!  You can also check out their site:  http://www.lorealgetnoticed.com/

I did a look for this contest- something perfect for a night out or even for Valentine’s Day.  It’s a very girly look using pinks and purples, and I used all drugstore products so this is budget friendly :)

Have a wonderful Valentine’s week everyone!

Much love,
Marlena

Hi beautiful Marlena,
Gorgeous look! Unbelievable girly ! The way I love !

I have a question for you: How do you come up with an idea how you are going to use this or that color eyeshadow? do you try before or do you just put the colors together and use your imagination? I say that because the market is always full of new cosmetics, colors, texture, etc so I keep thinking how you try them to have a great look.

Thank you so much.

I love this look…. HOWEVER… the camera work on this video i did not like at all. Normally the camera is fine but the zooming in and out made my head hurt and when the camera was zoomed in it was on the side of the eye and you couldnt really see what you were doing.

Hi Marlena,

The concept and the pictures were really nice for this look however, we didn’t get a chance to see you up close and truly see the technique. In the future can you continue you to do your close-up tutorials? Coming from a good place. much love.

Because of your tutorials I have learned alot and have a major supply of your product…very high quality can’t wait for the pigments :)
