Thanks Marlena! Would you please show how to modify your face routine when you have a tan. I feel that I don’t need the same coverage as in the fall and winter. Keep doin what your doin!!! So helpful. I finally can put on my false lashes and no one can tell. My friend was shocked when I told her.

I love this look! For those of us with seasonal allergies that give us the dreaded red eyelids would you recommend putting the same skin-toned eyeshadow on the lid area before applying the glitter? Or a base, like NYX jumbo pencils?
I don’t think it’s such a big deal If you use the glitter glue. Eyeshadow wouldn’t help, so maybe a skin toned cream eyeshadow or an eyelid neutralizer? I really like the Mac paint pots
they come in a lot of shades for every skin tone.

I know that marlena likes revlon color stay for a matte finish, and neutrogena healthy skin for a dewy finish. I personally like revlon photo ready and cover girl nature luxe
both of them are semi matte/medium~buildable coverage. Happy hunting

I have a simple question. When you apply false eyelashes is it easiest to apply mascara before or after the lashes is put on? (I’ve seen your video about inflicting false eyelashes), but it teases me when I put them on and I ruin my makeup every time………

I like to apply mascara after because it kinda bonds the false lashes to the normal lashes. Its Aldo easier

I love the new background! I really really liked the professional look of the solid white background but I know that a bunch of people didn’t. This is a great compromise between the two and really looks great!

Have any of you ever had an issue with Duo glue? I was wearing false lashes using Duo glue everyday a year ago, and my eye lashes stopped growing. They were extremely short and getting holes where lashes weren’t growing in. I stopped putting on false lashes, used Lilash, and they eventually grew back. Have any of you makeup geeks ever had a similar issue? Do you know what I might have been doing wrong?

I know that ever since I’ve been watching her videos (since 2008) she’s bee using it… I’ve heard no complaints from her
plus, she sells It in the the MUG store, and she wouldn’t steer us in the wrong direction 
You think maybe I got a couple of bad tubes? I should try it again and see if my lashes stop growing again. Not trying to be a Duo glue hater. I just thought maybe someone else had encountered the same thing and had an answer.

As we know there are people they have more sensitive skin then the others and you seem to be one of them. After I read your comment I actually did some research about Duo Glue and have found out the reason why you could experienced such a radical situation with your eyelashes. I found a web site (link below) where some guys are reading labels of cosmetic products and marking them according the amount of chemicals which the products contain. Duo Glue has got a very high score 7, which means it contains some chemicals and according the web site cause the ‘high hazard’ for health. Marlena and some other people are just less sensitive on these chemicals. So try to find something what works better for you. I would recommend to discontinue using this one.

Hi Marlena! I’ve been watching you for a while now and am loving all the looks you come up with. I have a passion for makeup but lack the creativity to come up with such bold looks. I usually take yours and tweak them a bit to work for me and am having a blast! I wanted to say with this look, although I wouldn’t wear this normally, I love it and will be sporting it this football season. I’m in San Diego, a Chargers fan, and these are our colors, blue and yellow/gold, so this look will be perfect and really stand out from all the women who just pack a shade of blue on their eyes. I love ur tutorials. I’ve been watching almost all of them for 2 years got my sister hooked on them too. through ur videos I have improved so much on my own makeup that others have notice my different ways of makeup even a makeup artiest
one question I where a scarf and the style I chose to wear my scarf covers my outer eye (like to hide my cheeks lol) – what advise can u give on making up inner eye more dramatic or pop beside the classic light shade in the inner eye.
