I have to stop watching your videos. Whatever you use, I want to buy. Luckily, though, I already have the 120 and it is amazing. I love watching your talent pay off. You’re amazing.
Incredible Marlena..and my FAVORITE candy of all time.

Hi Marlena,
I love all of the tutorials that you have been doing. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on doing makeup for weddings. I’m getting married within the next month and would love to see a tutorial on makeup for weddings. I love everything that you do! I always look forward to see what you will come up with next!
this look is so incredible!
can u give the ebay link for the 120 palette? what brand is it ?
oops nvm im blind haha i saw it!!
Hey Marlena
I loved the tutorial!
I have a question, why do you think that the 120 palette is better than CS’s 88 palette??? I have just bought the 88 palette in shimmer and will be buying the matte soon… Shall I just buy the 120 palette instead because it similar price to the 120 matte palette. Not sure, what do u think?
Thanks a bunch!!
Awesome! All you need is some green liner in your waterline and you’ve got Skittles!
Gorgeous! What are you wearing under your lower lash line? Thanks!
I agree with someone that posted with the topic: wedding makeup. I would love to see a tutorial on wedding makeup. I would really appreciate it!! Thanks!
this is so pretty marlena!! u wear those bright colors so well. super hot as always! =]
curious,
is there a substitute for this? MAC Myth Lipstick something a little bit cheaper perhaps?
Hi Marlena,
According to your video, you say you like the Manly 120 palette better than the 88 palette (which i have:P). I wonder how comparable they are to eachother? I find that the 88 palette is kinda powdery? and isn’t really pressed…what are your thoughts about the manly 120? I would love to see a review and swatches of the manly 120.
Thanks!
Nancy
OOoh! That’s fun! Love it.
love it marlena i am gonna practice on this one tomm!!
Gorgeous and very adventurous….that is a very pretty look.
Hey Marlena, can you go through all your collection of makeup brush as I am hunting for makeup brushes.
Thanks!
Oh, finally some red coloures
Not that I am not pleased by the other tutorials ^^ Cause I really, really do!! But I love to use red when I use makeup, so this tutorial is pure perfection
Thank you so much for showing us how to be as beautyful as you are ^^
And keep up the good work!
Love from Norway

Hi Marlena,
You said that you liked the Manly 120 palette better than the 88 palette. Can you please please do a comparison between the both. What are your thoughts about the manly 120? I would love to see a review and swatches of the manly 120.

Yummo indeed, love it, I have to say I’m so glad to finally see you use the 120 palette, I have it too and I love it, Great color pigmentation, good payoff hardly any fall out. Keep up the good work.
This is great. Went to London this weekend and they have a shop called Cybercandy. I saw this make of candy. While there I brought Reeses nutrageous and Baberuth along with cans of Rootbeer (yum). I love the colours of the Reese bars. Would they look good as a tutorial? Keep up the great work x

OMG!!! How beautiful!!! I love NYX Africa… amazing job like always
Hey Marlena-
I love the look. I also have the 120 palette. When I got mine a couple of the colors were broken, so I fixed them and it has worked great, no mess.
What you do is finish breaking up the broken shadow until it is fine again, I used a toothpick it works great.
Then you add a few drops of rubbing alcohol, just enough to make a thick paste and again stir it up with the toothpick. Smooth it out the best you can with the tooth pick.
Let it dry. When it is almost dry no longer sticky, take a dime and wrap plastic wrap or a small piece of cloth or paper towel around the dime and press it onto the shadow. this will give it a smooth even, flat finish. Let it dry completely.
This will keep your shadow from spilling into other colors and making a mess, and it does not change the color or the texture. you can use water, but the alcohol drys faster.
Hope this helps.
Yeah that alcohol trick works, one of my blushes broke the other day and I did it and you know what IT WORKS But don’t use water….bad idea….use alcohol because its antibacterial…if you use water you can cause bacteria to build when it is drying up, since it takes longer with water.,..defff… use alcohol…coastal scents has a tutorial on how to fix broken eyeshadows….so try it out it works….saves the heartache of a broken shadow or any makeup….
IM LUVIN THIS LOOK…LOTS!
I love love love this look!
__Where can I order thes palettes? What are they called??
this is gorgeous hey marlena can you make a tutorial on what kind of colors goes with a light medium and dark skin my skin color is a little darker than you are but i am not sure which color to use i don’t want to look like a clown
I am looking at the 120 Pallet on ebay and I am seeing it listed anywhere from $7.99 to $27.99. I am skeptical about it because I don’t want to buy the wrong one. Am I to assume that the term “you get what you pay for” doesn’t apply to this? Marlena I know you get so many emails and posts, but is this the Manly 120 Pallet or a different one? Please let me know if you can. Anyway this is such a fun look and I just love seeing all your new and beautiful ideas!! Thanks so much!! =)
Hey Marlena,
I was wondering if it is possible for u to do a comparison between the Manly 120 palette and the 88 Coastal Scents palette, pleaseee…
Thanks a bunch!!
I can’t pull up my seller as I bought mine 2 months ago
The average price is going to average at about $25 regardless of listing price, if the price is really low, they are probably charging more for shipping. Mine did come from Hong Kong and got here very fast- I did have 2 shadows broken in transit (it was packaged really well), so just a heads up. The shadows are still usable- they’re just like pigments instead
Compared to the 88 palette- I like the 120 palette more- it seems a bit more pigmented and less chalky than the Coastal Scents ones (imo). I still like the 88 palette, but prefer the 120 I think. You don’t need both though
BTW, my palette is a “Manly” one…
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I love when you do your tutorials with the 120 palette because like some of your users say…we can’t all afford the MAC products all the time. Red is my favorite color and you like very pretty with this look thanks again!!!
-KW
I know you say this look isn’t the most flattering on you, but I love it- I started doing a look almost identical to this years ago that got dubbed “fire eyes”. I’m fair as well, and while the color is shocking, especially the red, it’s proof positive that makeup doesn’t always have to be about what “your” colors are- sometimes it’s just about FUN!
Kudos!
OOOOOH MY GOD YOU ARE SO TALENTED!
What are you wearing under you lower lash line?
Hey Marlena!!!!!
I’m from Brazil and i just discovered your website by reading a magazine…I’ addicted to your work!!!! I’m trying to make everything i learned, but i confess you make it easier than it really is!
I’m trying to buy the coastal essential Palette that you indicatte in one of your tutorials but i’m having dificults…Theres is another way to bought it??? There is someting like that??? I just came back from NEW YORK , i was there to spend New years eve holiday, and i spent a lot of money on MAC…The one inside MACY’S…If i knew you before , i wold have spent a lot more!!!!!
I’m sorry about my english, i promisse i’m doing my best !!!!!!
I just love you!!!! thank you very much…

Anyway, enough gushing…
