i KNOW iT MiGHT SEEM LiKE A CRAZY QUESTiON…BUT iM NOT NEW TO MAKEUP…BUT iM NEW TO BRUSHES… WHAT ARE SOME TECHNiQUES AND/OR BRUSHES THAT ARE EASY FOR BEGiNNERS?
LOVE YOUR TUTORiALS!
GORGEOUS AS ALWAYS (FROM GUADALAJARA, MEX)
i love how you do a product AND link breakdown–helps out a lot! very nice look
your tutorials can’t come round fast enough. As always a brilliant look and I love trying them out. I know they say age is only a number but could you do/suggest colours for us 50+ girls who feel 20 but the skin doesn’t take it . . .
That is GORGEOUS, Marlena! Wow!! Your lashes look absolutely amazing! Your lower lashes are sooo long! =)
YOU ALWAYS LOOK LIKE A TRILLION BUCKS!!!
I’m so jealous.
GREAT easy look!!! you looked GORRRG…but i do have to say one thing…can you PLEEEEEEASE bobypin your bangs back when doing the look because im very distracted by the repeated process of it falling then you tucking then it falling & you tucking thru the whole video. i know youre probably like ooooooook b*tch! lol but it is distracting…great videos otherwise!
That’s cool I loveling is easy
Ok I wanted to defend you after reading one of those comments, but I’ll stay a Lady…shake the haters! Its so crazy how you use a combo of colors that create a whole different color you never coulda guessed…or at least I couldnt anyhoo (talking about your lips) its awesome and I wonder if its just an artist thing. Love the look, anything Arabic inspired is so sexy! Love to Mikey W. Smith too
This is one of your best created look ever! I DO LOVE IT!
Great work.
Thanks
Great tutorial as always….. I love the look, and it’s also a quick one, not to mention that pink is my favorite color.
You will be an amazing make-up artist for an Artist hehe… did I explain myself well?? You r amazing!
I’m planning to go to Ft.lauderdale for the seminary. Can you do this look with alternate color/brands? You go girl!
btw… I’m posting this link on facebook for all my friends!! greetings from Puerto Rico
Agree with BeckyCheltenham UK – love what you do, would like a look for a 50+ in years but not in attitude. Having a husband and two sons it is sooo good to find somewhere girly to spend a while……….
Marlena, Beautiful as always!!!
awesome job! i wanted this done and you answered my wishes..yay!
what kind of brushes would you suggest , for people who cant afford the ones you got
hi i am arabic so im impresed . love this look
as i am a veru fair skined indian, could i still get away with the arabic eyeliner around my dark brown eyes, even if they are deep and close set?
Hi Marlena! Just wanted to say I really appreciate the good work U are doing. I am a big fan of yours and I can’t
wait to see more!
Keep up the good work ! Thanks for sharing! A hug from Italy!
Marlena, thanks to you, some of the girls in my office and I have been watching your tutorials and applying what you teach. I have always loved makeup and loved doing makeup. I get many compliements on my looks and have been told that it looks like a professional did it. Thanks to you I have learned many new techinques and ideas on different styles and colors. Looking forward to more tutorials in the future. Since I have been watching your tutorials this year, I have spent over $600 dollars in makeup/brushes/etc. I need a very large caring case for all that I have, any ideas on where I can find one? I see that you will be in Vacaville on June 28th, I am going to try to see if I can make that one. Which one should I attend beginners or intermediate?
Thank you Signed
Angela (makeup junky)
Hi Marlena! My name is Elesandra and I looove this site, I’m always wacthing your videos, they’re great! I’m brazilian and I’m not all that good in English, so excuse me if I say something wrong or nonsense. I’m actually writing for you to ask for help. I need a make up look to use on a college graduation party, very formal, my dress is bronze-goldish color, my skin is medium clear kind of yellow color (like asian skin), lots of freckles and I’m very overweight, and you should know that I don’t have any MAC product, so speak only of colors or some look here in your site that would fit the occasion. Please help me!
I think the make up looks better on you than on alicia, so alicia needs to contact you! xox
You are so beautiful!! You do such great work!! Please email me so if I have any questions I can ask you personally. Thanks
HEY I REALLY LOVED HER LOOK AND YOU DO SUCH A GOOD JOB GETTING HER LOOK BUT FOR ALL OF YOU WHO WANT THE EXACT COLORS CHECK OUT THE MARYKAY.COM WEB SITE AND YOU’LL FIND IT

hi, your make up is so amazing and you are so good. i was wondering if you could show me one wearing less make-up please. its just i cant afford all this stuff. lol
xx

I love you video’s and have learned a lot about makup application. I have worn makup for years but I am just now really getting interested in learning the proper way to apply it. Please, please, please pin your bangs back when you are doing a video. I am trying to concentrate on your makeup technique and it is distracting to watch you constantly push your bangs back.
your makeup looks better than hers. gorgeous!
You are amazing, I watch your tutorials everyday and practice, I am not as good as you but I will get there. I hail from Toronto, Canada and I use Mac products, but it is extremely expensive here to purchase, so I buy some drug store products and I saw your tutorial on CG (Covergirl) eye shadow, and I agree they are not that great, so after I saw your video I threw them out of my makeup kit……….hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for everything and keep up the great work.
