Alright my Makeup Geeks, today I have a 2 minute tag video that will show you how to do a makeup look in 2 minutes…shew. I have already done the “5 Minute Makeup” http://www.makeupgeek.com/tutorials/5-minute-makeup/ but I wanted to show you all that regardless of whether you are late for work, or you just don’t want to spend a lot of time doing your makeup, and you don’t want to be without anything that you still look nice and polished in no time at all.

One thing you can do to help save on time is to lay out the products you will be using the night before. This way you can grab exactly what you need without searching and save time. Also, I am not going to talk while I apply the makeup as it takes up a lot of time, I really want you all to be able to see that you can complete this look in 2 minutes. I will explain everything I do at the end of the video. So let’s set the timer and get going on this 2 minute look.

PRODUCTS USED

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer  (Amazon)

Soft Dome Brush  (Makeup Geek)

Makeup Geek Gel Eyeliner – “Fame”   (Makeup Geek)

L’oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black  (Amazon)

I am OK with my makeup until comes the time to use the eye pencil. I like to use it in the water line because my eyes are big and kinda round. I have tried millions of eye pencils from all brand names but I feel my eyes burning or simply getting red. Does anyone here have any idea what I could do? I don’t like to pass it outside my eye or I will look like an ” Owl” !! :)

Thanks,
Nedabr

Any other suggestion of brand name is welcome ! Maybe it will work and I will let you know.

I had the same problem, but when I used to Mary Kay, I tried their eyeliner, the one with the mechanical pencil and it has given me no problems whatsoever and I love how it looks. I think the creaminess is the key though, so if you find something just as creamy I think it’d work too.

Fantastic ! Thank you so much, GuyMuggy!

I don’t want to stop using the eyeliner . Eye liners are a MUST for me.

I will try and let you know. Thank you a bunch !

I have the same problem! My eyes are very sensitive to most eyeliners when I use them in the waterline.

The only brand I’ve found that never gives me any irritation is the Buxom Insider Eyeliner. Buxom is an off-shoot brand of Bare Escentuals, and you can only find it at Sephora (they actually have a 4-pack on sale right now). They are very pigmented and the colors are very pretty. My only complaint about them is that they aren’t as budge-proof as I would like for a long day. But they last about 4-6 hours for me.

When I only have 2 minutes I use my MAC studio fix powder foundation and a big powder brush. My skin is good enough for just a dust of powder and it covers everything that have to.
Then a little of blush (as I don’t put anything on my lips), khol, mascara and I’m ready to go.
My brows are quite full I don’t need to fill them in. Et voilà :)

same for me, but I’ll throw on a plain paint pot (painterly) real quick with my finger and use a dime brush (the mac 217) and throw on the color sweet satisfaction– it’s one of their pro long wear colors. ps. I just added brown sugar to my z palette of mug eyeshadow pans–bringing me to a grand total of (drum roll…:) 20 shadows! thanks for the videos marlena–you rock!!<3 <3

Two minutes does go by fast. I’d go with full face of foundation and do my eyebrows. I’d grab my lipstick, blush, mascara and a MAC paint pot and run out the door. I use public transportation so I’d finish the rest on the way to work on the bus. I followed another Youtuber’s advice: on Sunday night I pull a weeks worth of make-up products and brushes from my stash and put it all into an organizer by my make-up mirror. I have what I need at my fingertips and I don’t have to dig through all my stuff to decide what I want to use. I do the same with my clothes – five outfits all lined up with accessories and undergarments on the same hanger. I try to think as little as possible before the coffee kicks in. :-)

I love this! I’ll admit I need this sometimes when I hit the snooze button too many times. It’s good to see a routine for those days when you have little to no time. I picked up the Maybelline Fit concealer on your recommendation and I love it! I’d definitely go with a little of that, some powder on my nose, a little eyeliner and maybe some blush. Thanks so much for the tips and tricks!

Great video thanks Marlena. I love doing my makeup in the morning so to be honest I always make time and if I’m late I’m late… That’s probably bad but if need be, I can do it fast and touch up in my office. If you don’t feel good leaving the house the rest of the is probably not going to be great! That’s my theory anyway. Thanks for your recommendation on this concealer, I am loving it!

I recently attended the Toronto IMATS and purchased the Eve Pearl Salmon concealer. My dark circles are really bad – like really bad! I bought the medium/tan one, and tried it on but it did not cover my circles at all! i currently use the MAC ProLongwear Concealer and thats been working but I really want to try out the Eve Pearl one again. How are you supposed to use it? Is there a special technique to applying it? HELP!
