Tarte Jewelry Box Palette
What is it?
An exclusive, limited-edition palette packed with 32 new eyeshadows, eight lip glosses, a mineral bronzer, a new shimmering powder, five deluxe long-wearing eyeliners, and a detachable necklace.
My Opinion:
This palette is truly my favorite of all time. Yes, I said it- of all time! I love that it has so many matte eyeshadows, as most brands carry nothing but glitter up the ying yang. This one has 16 matte ones that are full sized! It also has another 16 shimmer shadows for you glitter lovers too 
The quality of this is absolutely amazing- great color choices, nice pigmentation, and smooth texture. The lipglosses are also fairly pigmented and aren’t sticky at all. I love the bronzer and highlighter as it’s not too orange or too glittery. The eyeliners I find are a tad dry, but not bad at all either. I cannot say enough about this palette! Good job Tarte- you nailed it!

I love this palette. It is so great and easy to use. I can play in the colors and get so many different options for a variety of looks. Factor in what you get, for the cost, this is a must for season….
i bought this because of your palette reviews from earlier. i am also in love with it and the packaging is a huge bonus. i didn’t realize it came with a necklace! not only do you get awesome shadows, highlighter, contour, lip colors, eyeliners.. but a pretty necklace to boot. awesome palette, don’t hesitate to buy it. it’s a sephora exclusive so get it before it sells out!
has anyone has attempted depotting the shadows? i’d like to put them in a zpalette as i’m not sure how long the jewelry box will hold up in my kit
woo hoo, i bought this a couple weeks ago, and I am also in love with it! I really adore the matte shadows…and i actually kind of like the eyeliners! The lipglosses are surprisingly moisturizing and leave my lips looking great!

So many great reviews on this palette…but I just don’t see what all the hype is all about. I purchased this on Sunday & I was so excited only to be let down. I think the eyeshadows are not as pigmented as they can be. I did like the glosses & bronzer. The highlighter could have been better. I seriously wanted to love this palette…maybe this isn’t for me.
I got this as a gift and I did not like it my first go round because there is a LOT of fall-out from the shadows and I agree that they could have more pigment but the more I play and experiment with it the more I do like it.
I have to agree with Teresa… I was also so excited to received this palette as well due to all of the reviews, comments etc. Once I got the palette I started playing with all the beautiful colors to find out there not as pigmented as I hoped for either, almost chalky with a lot of fall out. I tried 2 different types of primers (MAC painterly pot and UD) in hopes that would help but it didn’t. So then I tried another approach, I tried foiling the eye shadow but even when I did that the eye shadow came out chalky.
All in all, I’m super bummed!! If anyone has any suggestions please post!! I’m not giving up hope yet.
I have been debating on getting this since forever. I think I put it in and out of my cart like a million times. Its just that the colors dont jump out at me. But after I seen the swaches, I’m definately gonna give it a go. I could definately use some more matte shadows.
do the shadows have a shell or some type of coating in top of them that you just need to break through before you get to the awesome pigmatation? I’m so thinking about getting this!

I don’t usually comment on these things, but I have to say that…….allthough these swatches are very good, they don’t do justice to how beautiful this palette really is. It is hands down my favorite purchase of the year! Love it, love it, love it!!! =)
I like the palette, but I totally hate the packaging, and it’s the reason I won’t buy it.

I just bought the NYC Urban Decay palette but I may just have to add this one to my Christmas list. I’ve told my bosses to get me Sephora cards for Christmas lol (hey they asked what to get me!).
Question: Do you wet your brush when you do the eyeshadow swatches? They look so…perfect.

I got this about a week ago and am obsessed with it. I did a really wild white to black smokey eye for a Christmas party and got a ton of compliments. The shadows blend beautifully and the inclusion of the matte shadows is great. Highly recommended product. LOVE TARTE!

Question: every time I use a concealer it becomes darker after few times, what is the reason for that? I always follow your way in using foundation and concealers.
