Advantages:

  • Beautiful colors
  • Long-lasting
  • Easy to apply

Disadvantages:

  • None that I  can think of

Overall Opinion:

I’m not much of a nail polish user, mainly because I don’t think I have pretty nails, and polish never lasts longer than one day in my nails.
So I thought that these would be nice colors, but chip off in a day. How wrong was I!
A week later, with only some minor wear on tips, I had to remove my polishes. And I didn’t use any base/top coats, just two coats of these.
I have to say that these are probably the best polishes that I own.

MUG Seal of Approval:  (5 out of 5)

Scarab is quite pretty, but I can’t see the swatch (on nails) of Viridian :( was there one? If so, my monitor must not be liking me today.

Thanks for another great review on an Illamasqua product! Makes me wonder why I’ve waiting for so long to buy from them …. I’m heading to their website now! Thanks again, and I love your blog Jangsara x

Viridian looks really amazing! I always loved Illamasqua nail polishes because of their new interesting colors and they are also chip resistant. :)

I’d say that a disadvantage is the price. That works out to $26 or so. For that reason alone, I’d pass on these. :/

If you can not afford these colors, NYC makes two nail polishes that are very similar
Scarab- Wing It Wine (creme finish)
Viridian- Big Money (frost finish)
