So very pretty
Review by Eun hee on May 13, 2012
I love this colour - cold purple. I haven't had any problems with the eyeshadow not staying on. For those who had the staying power problem, maybe the problem was from the colour not being as not as dark/deep as they expected... In my opinion, the colour is slightly lighter than what the pic shows, however, very beautiful colour. I love it!

Very Pretty
Review by Kristen on April 24, 2012
I love plum and cranberry colors and this one is definitely a keeper. It is very smooth, pigmented and easy to blend. I love that it is dark enough on my VERY fair skin that I can use it as a crease color OR as a lid color and pair it with a brown or black. I recommend using it with a good primer like NARS smudgeproof eyeshadow base or UD PP because it tends to fade and crease a little throughout the day if you don't. SUPER pretty though. I would definitely buy this one again.

Stunning Color
Review by Gourdon_Girl on February 15, 2012
I now have 40 out of the 50 eyeshadows and this is my favorite color of them all! Such a beautiful color for my fair skin and it really makes my hazel eyes pop as green. Thank you Marlena for all of these beautifully pigmented eyeshadows!!!!

I love this color. I think it is very pretty on my fair skin. However, it does tend to fade especially, especially if you don't put an eye-primer.

Plum Thrilled
Review by Leslie on January 26, 2012
No mistaking this name. Usually my husband hollers "Since you was" up, can you get me something too?" But not anymore, now he gets the real meaning of Sensuous. This plum color gets his attention everytime and really does wonders for green/hazel eyes.

Disappointed
Review by Dcurly on January 23, 2012
The color is beautiful on screen but very different once in hand. Dupe for MAC's Star Violet and just as disappointing. Was hoping the payoff and texture was like Burlesque or MAC's Woodwinked. Maybe the chemists could tweek the formula.

Not impressed
Review by Lorraine on January 20, 2012
I am so sorry to have to say this but I agree with Katie. My MAC colour is NC44 and I packed this shadow on top of my MAC eyeshadow primer but still the colour pay off wasn't impressive. Also, just like Katie, once I had applied it, I had flecks all over my cheeks. Not a good look.

Pretty color
Review by Katie on January 15, 2012
This color is really pretty! But, I was a little underwhelmed with the quality. The color didn't last very long and creased and it's a lot like UD eyeshadows in the sense that I got the "flecks of silver" all over my cheeks.
I'm sorry to have to say that because I love Marlena, but I just wasn't feeling it.

Beautiful colour!

I usually wear more neutrals, but took a chance on this colour. I love it! Its a smokey, subtle purple. I was nervous about the "flecks of silver", but it is not chunky or glittery. Very subtle sparkle. More of a shimmer. You could wear this for daytime or evening. So pretty!

Great pigmentation!
Review by savvychic88 on December 22, 2011
This is probably my favorite shadow so far. It's incredibly soft, creamy, smooth, and pigmented. Just a small amount will cover your entire lid. I haven't noticed any creasing yet and I've had it on for 6 hours. This color can be worn alone with just a brow highlight and looks like you spent a lot of time on your makeup. Fab!
