  I ordered this shade when it was on sale. The texture is fine, as is the smell. It wears a decent amount of time.
  
  This is no fault of the lipstick, but wish I'd ordered another colour instead, because I'm a platinum blonde with porcelain skin and this is not a flattering shade on me. It would look great as a neutral on someone with darker skin/hair. I would definitely try MUG lipstick again in a different color.

  Just got this lipstick in the mail yesterday with a MAC Antique Gold pigment I also ordered. This is my first Makeup Geek purchase, and I must say, I'm impressed! I'm new to lipsticks, but I really like the balm type feel of this lipstick (don't worry - there is plenty of pigmentation too!). This is not a color family I have tried before, but I'm liking it! It's not exactly a pink or a purple. It's a pretty, understated neutral mauve. I'm not sure how long lasting it is yet, but it lasted through dinner tonight without liner or primer! Can't wait to order more from you guys! :)

  Finally give them a try and I am so happy I did!
  “Darling” is a wonderful neutral, hinting of mauve and dusty rose. The packaging is so chic and the clever window on the top cap gives you a peek inside. There is a slight fragrance and taste to the creamy matte formula that I quickly got used to. I feel MUG lipsticks are a better value my drugstore purchases. An outstanding product. An affordable luxury I can pamper myself with!

  Forget what I said about MUG Shy being my dupe....that was before I found this one! I always used to Tarte's Lipsurgence crayon lipcolor in Exposed. And Darling is almost exactly like it. Exposed has a slight hint of peach more than Darling. But I use my orange colored gloss over Darling and it looks EXACTLY the same!! This is now my everyday lip color instead of Exposed. I still love Exposed, but it's pricey for an everyday color. And Darling stays smoother on my lips for way longer than Exposed. Now if MUG could make some lip glosses, I might kiss you!

  Yes, I have the other high end lip stick in this color and this is a great dupe. I plan to get more of these L/S ...great job on them.

  I just got this today along with the other products I purchased! And this lipstick is my absolute favorite by far... To any other brand or color! The texture of these lipsticks are fantastic! The color even more fantastic! What a wonderful job! Well done!! I only hope that you never ever run out of this color for the rest of my life... Because this now be my go to... No matter what. My goodness I am in love!
