This color is beautiful, it is very close to MAC's Aquadisiac and MAC's Teal color that comes in the duo with brown, does not have name on it... would recommend to anyone

I just discovered makeupgeek eye shadows about a month ago. Started with an order of about 10, then added another 5 and ordered another 5 today. I love them. I have light olive skin, dark hair and really light blue eyes. This mermaid color is my favorite. I thought I would never wear blue eye shadow again but it is such a beautiful color. I use too faced shadow insurance have not had any problems with it staying on. You can make it look really bright or tone it down very easily.

I'm slowly adding to my collection of Makeup Geek eyeshadows and this is the first one that I've been able to try out that isn't a more neutral, basic color...and I LOVE IT!! It really does look pretty creamy and I don't have to pile it on for the color to show. Great job!

I'm crazy about color and this color is silky smooth, and reflexes like you would think a mermaids tail would look like, duh, that's why she calls it mermaid! lol love it!

I too wanted to like this color...it fades away very quickly....i agree with kristen no matter what base i use it just will not stay on my eyes. does not last very long at all. it is a beautiful color though. i love the color. i would skip this one if i were you just because it dont last long. i dont wear it bc i know it will wear off so soon.

I like this color a lot BUT no matter what base I used it just falls flat. It tends to crease and fade quite fast and I had to constantly touch it up or one of the times I just flat out covered it up with a darker pigment because I needed to get moving. It has such a great look and initial pigmentation and the formulation is so smooth and inviting but I base my choices for my go to colors on wearability and longevity of wear. I need it to hold up in the Texas heat and for at least 7 or 8 hours most days and I just find this one didn't. Makes me sad it wasn't quite what I expected but if you are only going out for a couple hours it still works in a pinch.

I LOVE this color. I used it when you did the colorful smokey eye and it was by far my favorite. All I need now is a sea, my prince (my hubby) and I am ready. I even have the red hair!

I received this eye shadow yesterday via mail, along with the other three I purchased (Sensuous, Shimmermint and Ocean Breeze), and at first I was amazed by the colours, because it is one thing to see them in your computer screen and another to see them up close and personal.
The next thing that made an impression was the colour payoff they all have, which is remarkable. Then, it was the softness of the shadows as well as the durability and the quality – all of them exceptional. Today at work I am wearing the “Mermaid” eye shadow and I have received more questions about them and compliments that I can count.
You really have done a great work – keep it up!

Receive today and makes my MUG 12th eyeshadow and hands down my favorite. Gorgeous ocean teal color with the gold reflects. shimmer without any glitter. I can't wait to use this to bounce light off the enter of my eye in a beautiful ocean look! Thanks MUG :)
