Satin medium to deep plummy brown

All About This Color:
You won’t have to worry about your dance card being empty if you’re wearing this gorgeous shade. Step out in this shimmery maroon/brown color and you’ll be on the dance floor for the first dance, the last dance and every one in between. This color is perfect for amping up a neutral eye without taking too much attention away from that little black dress you’re wearing. As if the color itself isn’t enough, the rich pigmentation also means your come-hither look lasts longer than the DJ.

The Bottom Line: Satin medium to deep plummy brown

  1. Beautiful color Review by LadyKimzu

This shadow is one I have used quite often! It does have more of a purple undertone with brown, but still beautiful to wear everyday. I feel like some of the shadow textures are so different depending on what color, finish or batch you may get. I had a lot of fall out with this one, but still you get a great color pay off and it blends beautifully. I guess you can also say the same thing with high end shadows as well… I would still repurchase this color when I hit pan… many of the shadows are great and looking forward to buying more! 2. Nice shadow but a bit disappointed Review by Lizbeth

This shadow is nice and is good in the outer v as an alternate to brown , however I was expecting higher quality and pigmentation. I had major fall out from this, and when i swipe the color there are these blue dots in the pan. I don't know if it just my shadow but it seems like the consistency is quite patchy. Despite this, it isn't a bad shadow and color is nice. It is reasonably good for the price I paid so no qualms there. I would maybe recommend burlesque for other people trying to choose between the two. (Posted on 10/25/14)

  3. Love the color! Review by alexa

The color is less blue-toned than I expected it to be it's like a purple brown which is perfect but this one I noticed has a lot of fallout not necessarily onto your skin when you apply it but when you touch the eyeshadow with the brush it generates a lot of powder and wastes a lot of product. None of my other makeup geek shadows are like this so I'm thinking it's just a bad one or something. But I still don't regret buying it, it's a lovely warm purple shade and I disagree that it's a dupe for burlesque. It's a bit lighter with more brown and less red than Burlesque. This is a very beautiful color that would look good on everyone and that you should buy. (Posted on 8/19/14)

  4. as gorgeous as Burlesque Review by DcMe

If you love Burlesque, you will surely love this ,too. Actually, almost a duplicate but I don't regret buying because I love the Burlesque color. (Posted on 7/25/14)

  5. just the perfect deep cranberry purple Review by Megan

I love this color so much!!!! Looks great alone or with other deep shades such as browns, blacks or even navy colors! (Posted on 6/30/14)

  6. Comparable to Mac Review by Tamara

I am wearing this today for the first time on one of my eyes, yes one. On the other I have MAC eyeshadow in the colour sketch. The two colours are very comparable, and to be honest I find make up geek eyeshadow a easier to blend and less 'rough' so to speak on your eyes. If you want to see a pic of the two side by side you can review this on my Instagram account: in_a_cent .... I bet you cannot pic the difference. The only difference I see is th price tag. In Audtralia we pay $33 for a Mac eyeshadow pot. So there is no question about it, just do it. I've just put in my second order. I hate fallout and this shadow does not fallout ... 7. Love Review by Nathalie

One of my favourite ! Gorgeous colour so easy to blend, highly pigmented as all Mug eyeshadow, I love it ! (Posted on 3/6/14)

  8. Love Review by Jennifer

To me burlesque looks closer to Mac cranberry. This is a plummy brownish color. I am medium skin tone and it is very subtle. Love it! (Posted on 6/12/12)

  9. MAC cranberry dupe? Review by JenJen

I second teebird415's question. Is this a good dupe for MAC cranberry, or is burlesque a closer match? (Posted on 3/18/12)

  10. mac cranberry Review by teebird415
