This eye shadow is a great shimmery gold color, and it’s perfect to go out and have a little fund ;)
The Bottom Line:
True metallic gold

Great Golden Review by Lisa
Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about ordering this color. The photos of it look more yellow and the swatches on YT makes it look like an extremely bright yellow gold. I am happy to say that this is a really pretty metallic true yellow gold color. It is perfect for the eyelid. Gold goes with just about any color so I can't imagine that you would not be happy with this color. It would compliment every skin tone! Happy, Happy, Happy! (Posted on 3/29/16)

Yellow Gold Review by Johanna
I wanted to find a more yellow gold instead of the other "sand" golds I've had in the past and this lived up to my expectations! The texture is buttery smooth, it's easy to blend and sooo shimmery.
Highly recommend this one if you're looking for a yellow gold. (Posted on 2/21/15)
Not what I expected Review by BrazilianEyes
I do think that as far as quality goes this eyeshadow is great. It's creamy and buttery and swatches so nice. However, although so many people rave about it I was not a fan. I thought that it'd be more golden than it actually ended up being. I think this eyeshadow is much more of a shimmery yellow than a gold, and I really don't like yellows. I guess this is just the misfortune of shopping online. Wish Make up Geek had a physical location here in Minneapolis :) (Posted on 11/2/14)
MUG NOOB Review by Jedyka
I just got my first eye shadows from MUG today because I heard they were better than Mac's. Let me just say OMG. How amazing they are. Creamy pigmented little suckers. In love a forever fan. I'm hooked. There goes my money... Shimma shimma and corrupt were my first two I got and I put them in the small Z palette. O and the stay power is great didn't need a primer. WoW! My favourite mug eyeshadow Review by Muna
Every time I wear this eyeshadow I get compliments. I notice that no one really mentions how great this eyeshadow is. I have medium to tanned skin and this eyeshadow flatters my skin tone and eyes. I really love it. (Posted on 8/16/14)
Gold owner Review by Irina
Not only I dug for gold. I actually found it! (Posted on 5/18/12)
Not my favorite Review by Kristen
Of the 11 MUG shadows I got this was One of the two that just didn't live up to my expectations. The color payoff was ok but to get it to look really gold I had to pack on the color otherwise it was a little patchy looking. Don't get me wrong it is still better than some I have used but just not as good as the other shadows I ordered. (Posted on 4/24/12)

Pure Gold!!! Review by Kristyn
Love this gold shadow! They really are telling the truth when they say it is true metallic gold. I have never had a gold shadow this pigmented before, it's awesome! (Posted on 3/13/12)
Lovely warm gold Review by Andria
I love this colour. I would recommend using with warmer or reddish browns if you're going for a neutral look. It didn't work for me with some taupe(y) brown, cooler shades. (Posted on 3/12/12)

Solid Gold Review by Leslie
Solid Gold pretty much says it all. Not only will you look feel like a million bucks, but with the high pigment and color you will look like you have the most expensive eyes around. (Posted on 1/26/12)
