Intense dark purple Review by Julia
This dark purple works great as a liner to be a bit less harsher than black. It also has a nice light sparkle that gives it a bit of something extra. (Posted on 4/27/15)
Best liner ever! Review by firefly02
I just love using eyeshadows as liners - just spritz my brush with fix+ and go to town. It does mean you can't do it with every eyeshadow, since it's got to be buttery (so it won't skip and you'd get those blurred lines, hate it!), and won't change when you add the fix+/water/whatever you're using.
This is gorgeous. Perfection. Deep eggplant but with an Ummph! to it.
And no, it's not a dupe for Mac Sketch at all. They should have one though, because Sketch, even though it's a beautiful color, is as stiff as they get. (Posted on 3/20/15)
So intense Review by FutilitiesMore
This one is perfect to soften your eyeliner. I love the intensity of the eyeshadow, very deep eggplant shade. (Posted on 3/19/15)
Oh, Drama Queen, I've looked for you for ages! Review by CHLOE
Love it for the outer V or for an eyeliner-like line, or for a purple smokey! Simply love it! Be careful, it is intensely dark! (Posted on 3/16/15)
Wish I could love it Review by Megan
This eyeshadow looks amazing in the pan but when swatched is another story. This color has a very very ruddy texture and applies patchy, even with UDPP. Won't repurchase. Can't expect all the apples that fall out of the tree to be perfect though, right? It looks STUNNING in the pan, though! Wish they would reformulate this one to be buttery and creamy like the others. Buy it! Review by Christine
You can get the shadows from MUG that are similar to Urban Decay naked 3 palette but so much better in quality! This is a dupe for UD's Darkheart in their naked 3 palette but so much better. This one blends like a dream! I will never buy MAC, urban decay, Nars, or even Makeup For Ever artist shadows again because these are by FAR the best eyeshadows in the industry. Buttery, easy to blend, stunning in color, lasts forever on the eye, doesn't crease, and highly pigmented. They are also $6!!! I have absolutely no complaints. I have bought 35 of these eyeshadows in various shades and every single one is perfection! (Posted on 3/2/15)
No a dupe for Mac Review by Erica
This is not a dupe for Macs sketch.....it's a beautiful alternative to black specially used with prom night but not at all the same as Sketch. It's a must have outer V color. I love it . (Posted on 7/16/14)
It's Alright Review by Cherilyn
I was expecting more out of this eyeshadow. The swatches on the website looked as good as the one on the back of my hand but when applied to my eyes it just lost it's appeal. I thought it would have the shimmery finish but it looked so matte on my eyes. I still like it but it isn't one of my favourites. (Posted on 7/9/14)
Amazing dark eggplant purple Review by Paula
This is a beautiful beautiful shimmer almost black purple. I would say it's a warm purple making it very wearable. It is satiny smooth to the touch, amazing color payout and super blendable. You could substitute this for a black if you want a slightly softer look. Very well done shadow. I swatched it on my arm with no primer and it was amazing. Wonderful products at a wonderful price. mac dupe Review by Arielle
dupe for mac sketch (Posted on 12/30/13)
Super Review by Veronica
I love using this in the outer v. I've tried it with Mac satin taupe, ud toasted, mug cosmopolitan, mango tango & more and it comes out stunning every time. If I pack it on, it's closer to black. But if I blend a lot, it's a beautiful dark purple. So for me this color can do a lot with so many looks (Posted on 9/16/13)
Superbe couleur Review by Nancy
La couleur est magnifique, très pigmenter, ressort davantage sur une base noire!! (Posted on 6/3/13)
Simply don't like Review by Maya
I love all others makeup geek eyeshadows... except this one.
I love purple eyeshadows, but this one is just not a purple one : it's a dirty greyish color with purple glitter. Looks amazing in the pan, on swatches... but on my eyes, no, really not !
It's the first time MUG disappointed me with a product... but i'm glad the other products didn't ! (Posted on 2/9/13)
Really Nice! Review by NAOMI
This is my second favorite MUG shadow. I've used this color as a liner, to deepen the outer v and all over the lid for a dramatic smoky eye. The color has shimmer but imo it is just the right amount of shimmer, it is very pigmented but still blend-able. I find that this color is a great alternative to traditional black or brown smoky eyes. (Posted on 2/3/13)
rich!! Review by lilymoon
very pigmented and makes a spectacular smokey eye! (Posted on 11/9/12)
Wonderful Review by Valasia
Drama Queen is one of the darkest, most beautiful purples I have seen – wonderful if you use it either as a liner, or in a smoky eye, especially when paired with the Prom Night eye shadow. Simply wonderful! (Posted on 10/15/12)
So satisfied Review by Eun hee
1. the staying powder is amazing. I wore this for 11 hours and the eye shadow was going nowhere.
2. the colour is amazingly dark and beautiful. This is very elegant dark purple.
3. the texture is very smoothe.
What else can I ask for? NOTHING! (Posted on 10/5/12)
