First of all, sorry for my poor english but I'm french;)
I'm very thankful to Marlena and her brand Makeupgeek for this eyeshadow, which is perfect : it's very, very pigmented and keeps its intensity througout the day!
I used it for my wedding instead of eyeliner : the hairdresser was very, very late and I had no more time to apply eyeliner (I don't get used with it and I was afraid of making a big mistake...) But Corrupt is a real eyeliner (I used also Moondust). For the evening, I wanted a different makeup, a smoky but the photographer was... late! I had no time anymore and I used more Corrupt and I get a glamourous look. Thanks Marlena!!

This is one of my go to blacks. It is very similar to MAC's Black Black Pigment. So dark and smooth. It does have a lot of fallout if you aren't careful and being SO pigmented and black you need to be careful. Makes an AMAZING eyeliner and it definitely MY FAVORITE of all of them which is weird cause it is black lol. You can definitely deepen a look if you use it with a light hand or use it to be super dark as a liner, smokey eye whatever you want. It is so much darker than MAC's Carbon or Black Tied. I use it probably 5-6 times a week and it is amazing :) Do not hesitate on this one! No complaints it is perfect!

I've been searching for a really pigmented black for a long time, and my search is finally over. I was a little startled at first how far so little goes, you only need the teeniest bit on your brush for a lot of black. This single pan will surely last you ages, even if you're doing smokey eyes every day.

Brilliant! I've used as an eyeliner and gives the smokiest eye imaginable. Best black hands down!!!
Can I just say also, that my order was lost. I contacted customer service and they got back to me within the hour. Everything got to me superfast and will definitely buy again. :)

This is the blackest black eyeshadow I have EVER seen! Should come with a label: Use with Caution :P Honestly... it will last for ages, really, a tiny bit on your brush does go a long way! Well done Marlena!

corrupt is very black and pigmented....will be yrs. before i need a black eyeshadow again. would only replace it for hygiene purpose's because it WILL honestly last for yrs.

This is a super black shadow, but I actually find I get quite a bit of fallout from it... make sure you tap as much excess as you can off!

I've been a makeup junkie for as long as I can remember and I feel compelled to review this! This is probably the best black eye shadow I've ever seen. The color payoff is just incredible with minimal fallout. Fantastic black color that should truly be in everyone's makeup collection!

I've tried many black shadows for creating a smokey eye, but NONE have compared to this one. Unbelievably pigmented, creamy in texture, smudges incredibly, and makes a killer liner wet as well. This is the only black eye shadow that I absolutely LOVE. I've tossed all my other ones, including a black MAC shade that looks pathetic next to this one.

Ok girls, forget the "Men In Black" now it's the "Girls In Black". And we are definitley, "Back In Black"! This takes the color black to a whole new level and a bold intenisty like you have never known. Get ready, this matte eyeshadow has a payoff like you have never seen before. But beware, a little goes a long way.

I just received my shipment of make up geek shadows. It is everything I expected it to be. Soft, creamy, blendable and very rich!!! I absolutely LOVE IT. All you need is a little with this color. Suuuuper dark and yet soooo blendable. The colors are very easy to work with and the price just makes it that much better. This is definitely if not the best, one of the best quality shadows I've come in contact with. I will be purchasing more for sure. Thank you Marlena!!!!

Most Pigmented black ever!! I'm used to trying to pack on the black eyeshadow to get it to the amount of black i want, but now i bearly need to touch the pan to get an intense black colour - fantastic!!

Amazing matte black eyeshadow! I was totally blown away by the pigmentation. Its even more black than UD blackout everybody was raving about! One light dip with the brush and youre good to go. Minor downside: this is a really soft eyeshadow so make sure to push your brush in gently. Other than that SUPERB!!!

Cudos to you Marlena for coming up with the blackest blackest black in the makeup world. Took me a couple of tries before I could get right without having a mess. I can use this as black eyeliner without wetting my brush.

This is it. THE ultimate black. Intense pigment, great for creating a sultry smokey eye. It only takes a gentle dab of your brush into the pan for crazy awesome color payoff! It's just SO BLACK and I can't get over it. I will never use any other black eyeshadow again!

I had not, until now, been able to find a black that wasn't pulling blue on me but this one - OMG, blackest black EVER. Totally matte, totally opaque, extremely pigmented yet can still be blended. Mac Carbon looks greay neart Corrupt!!
Note: it looks like there are tiny specs of sparkle on the top of the shadow but this is NOT shimmer, the e/s definitely applies matte and once the top layer is gone, you don't see those specs anymore.

I touched my brush to the shadow ONCE and I had to use more browns to cover up the black cuz it was too dark!! This color is Sooooo potent...its easy to get carried away. Its not a bad thing at all, just have to get used to it!! Ha ha!!

This is incredibly pigmented! Make sure to flick your brush off before applying to the outer v, otherwise you might end up with a seriously black look! I haven't used a shadow as liner in years (and when I did, I always wet the brush)... This is so unbelievably black, using it dry with a small angled brush gives the same effect as a black liner... Love it

In response to Dianna: Corrupt IS a matte shadow. There seems to be a few minor specks of sparkle in there, but it won't be considered a shimmer shadow. So if someone is looking for a top-end matte black, I'd recommend corrupt

With one swatch of this shadow, your jaw will drop. This is the blackest of black shadows out there. Especially for the price. Great job, MUG crew!

I just had gotten a few of the MUG shadows in the mail! I am absolutely digging the quality... ***BUT*** what had sadden me was that i thought i was getting a matte black eye shadow but there is shimmer in the shadow=( its super pigmented and i will definitely be using it of course but i am still kinda upset only because it is describe as an intense MATTE black....
