MAC Complete Comfort Creme Review

What I love or hate about this product:
Whenever I am on the hunt for a new moisturizer, I look for something that is lush, hydrating and makes my skin not only feel amazing but look amazing as well. The MAC Complete Comfort Creme does just that. I love how thick this product is because I only need a small amount to completely moisturize my entire face. The creme gives my skin a healthy glow and look as well as makes my skin soft to the touch. I never have that dry skin feeling after I use this moisturizer. Although the product is targeted for those with severly dry, irritated and/or red skin, it works for a variety of all skin types.

They describe it as: A moisturizer formulated to instantly rehydrate the skin and provide immediate and ongoing relief from redness and irritation. Ultra-creamy, provides high-comfort wear while providing sensitive skin with the soothing benefits associated with its calming plant-and marine-based formula.

If you are looking for a product to soothe and calm your irritated skin this product is definetely for you. If you are just looking for a simple lush moisturizer to give you a soft, hydrated look to your skin, I would suggest you check out the comfort creme as well.

Thanks Bobbie for this review! I am currently looking for a moisturizer that is good for skin that is combination/oily and with rosacea. Products I’ve used in the past had left my skin somewhat irritated
upon application.Plus the products never seemed to leave my skin feeling soft and supple.
I’m definitely looking into purchasing this because it seems to be exactly what I’m looking for!

thanks for this very helpful review i have combo skin and its very sensitive. i get very iffy on trying new products on my skin since alot of products in the past have done my skin very wrong. im very oily in the t zone but very dry on my chin and around my eyes and cheeks. so im definitely going to give this a try. the price is pretty steep but im going to make it work, since your review was soo convincing.

Thank you for the review!
Please, for any further skincare review don’t forget to include the complete ingredients list. Otherwise it is pretty worthless

Or you could look it up yourself instead of complaining about something someone is doing as a courtesy to you.

This sounds like a product I would really like to try. My skin is combo and very sensitive proned to redness and I have been searching for a product that is targeted for those issues. My only problem is that it is MAC…almost everything I have tried that is MAC brand has made me have a severly bad reaction (rash, redness, bumps) including their foundation and face lotion. Do you think if I had a bad reaction to their other products I should stay away from this one?

Hi Traci….If you’ve had problems with MAC products in the past; I would suggest to stay away. Have you looked at the Mario Badescu website? They have good quality products for every skin type and the website is very user friendly with all types of suggestions. I also use Mario Badescu and it has worked wonders for getting my skin under control. I hope this helps. Best wishes and good luck.

I don’t know why MAC discontiued the moisture lush cream (that was my go to cream). I think I will give this a try; I also have combo skin and tend to be acne prone but never had a problem with MAC moisturizers.

Thanks for the review. I have the skin type this product is made for, however will not be trying it due to the jar packaging. Ingredients in jar packages cannot remain stable due to air exposure and should not be recommended. What separates this product from more affordable drug store products?

I have never tried MAC skincare before, but this sounds perfect for me. It also sounds similar to the Clinique Comfort on Call which was discontinued.
