Laura Mercier Oil-free Tinted Moisturizer

The Laura Mercier Oil-free Tinted Moisturizer is a lightweight foundation that can be reapplied as necessary, offers sun protection for sensitive or acne prone skin, oil control, and provides hydration to prevent dryness.
The Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer is a product that I use almost everyday especially during the summer. I love that it is lightweight, does not make my skin overly shiny, and provides a decent amount of coverage. This is by far one of the best tinted moisturizers on the market. I also love the range of shades that Laura Mercier offers for this Tinted Moisturizer. Sometimes it is difficult for me to find face products that match my skintone but Laura Mercier does a good job at making products that fit a variety of skin tones. My only con for this product is the price but I am willing to pay a little bit more for such a high quality product.

Great Review. I’ve been looking for a great tinted moisturizer, gotta give it a try. Thanks !!!!

Does this L.M. contain antioxidants to protect the skin from the free radicals the sunscreen has itself? It would be nice if products started making items that contain antioxidants and such because if the skin is not healthy no amount of make-up will cover up bad skin. I like the Dermalogica sheer tint because their formulations benefit and really protect the skin and still allow your natural skin to breathe and show through. Cakey make-up and a full covered face full of make-up is never attractive especially to men.

I love my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and though it is expensive, I find that it lasts a long time

Bobbi What are the beautiful shadows you are wearing on your eyes! Love the look :)

Hey! I am wearing (ALL MAC) All that glitters on the lid, Da bling in the inner crease, handwritten in the outer V and outer crease. Hope that helps.

I am very happy with my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. A Sephora make-up artist recommended it to me and I’m hooked. It is very light and does leave my skin looking clear and glowing and not gunked up.

You look so cute! This is an awesome tint, I’ve been using it everyday for half a year and love the sheer but build-able coverage and how it glides on and blends perfectly. I like tints a lot more than foundation because I feel like my skin can still breathe.

I have that one, but I honestly think it oxidazes quite a bit when I put it on, it gets darker and yellower so it doesn’t match my skin at all. It also seems to melt after a couple of hours of wear so I end up with it on my clothes and fingers while my face starts to look patchy and greasy. Sorry to disagree but I really don’t like it.

Forgot to mention that you are a gorgeous girl! and I love your makeup in the picture ( yes I realize that your probably used the aforementioned product) but you have to give credit when credit is due ;)

Thank you hun! and it is okay to disagree…not everything will work for everyone. I hope you find something that works well for you.

Paula Begoun of Beautypedia.com does not give this product a high rating because unfortunately it is free of the UVA-protecting ingredients of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, avobenzone, Tinosorb, or Mexoryl SX,. She does not recommended it . “There are plenty of tinted moisturizers that get the critical issue of UVA protection right, so no need to focus on this one,” she writes. She does however, recommend the Laura Mercier illuminating tinted moisturizer. Check out her website for her review of beauty products.

I do love your website and everything it offers, but I think the tie-in with the store Sephora is unecessary at times.

I wanted to add to my above comment what Paula Begoun said about the Laura Mercier illuminating tinted moisturizer SPF 20. She writes in her review: “I’ll get right to the point: This is an awesome tinted moisturizer if you have normal to dry skin and want an attractive glow finish that is sophisticated without being sparkly. Unlike Mercier’s other tinted moisturizers, this one gets the UVA issue right by including avobenzone.”

Great review, I am definitely interested, but just curious does anyone know how the Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturizer compares to the Smashbox sheer focus tinted moisturizer?

Hello,
I’m french so please excuse me for my bad english.

My skintone seems similar to yours, Bobbie, and i’m wondering if there is a tutorial of your make up (face and eyes). Too beautiful. I try to understand all the comments below, but I don’t all understand.

All my apologizes

hey hun. my makeup in this video was actually done by a professional makeup artist, so I could not do the tutorial for you. sorry :(

I LOVE your make up!!! I’ve never tried a tinted moisturizer but now I want to give it a try. Luckily my skin doesn’t need much help but this will give me more of a polished look.

I bought this TM after you recommended it, and I’m so happy I did! It’s the perfect tinted moisturizer. Lasts all day and gives decent coverage without feeling as heavy as a foundation. Thanks!

Hey Bobbie,

I have been contemplating buying this product for weeks now and just like you mentioned, the price was what swayed me towards not buying it. After seeing how beautiful it looks on you and hearing about everyone (mostly) rave about it I think I am going to splurge! Hopefully it looks good on me as it does on you! Btw, what shade of the the moisturizer are you wearing? (We share a similar complexion)

hey, bobbie. you are so cute!

quick question – i live in winnipeg, manitoba (canada). our climate ranges – super hot and awesome in the summer, fall cool, cold winter and gorgeous spring. do you think this LM tinted moist would be good in cold winters too? xoxo
