Phyto Hair Crème Review

Hello my lovely Makeup Geeks!  Today I have a review of the Phyto hair crème I picked up while I was in Paris.  I absolutely fell in love with this product as soon as I used it.  I receive so many messages about this so I wanted to do a review of it for you. The exact name is “Phyto 9 Crème de Jour Nutrition Extreme/Daily Ultra Nourishing Cream”.  A long name I know but this product is so amazing.

A similar product can be purchased here in the states Ulta for $26.00 USD. I know that sounds a little expensive but I swear this will last for a very long time! It comes in a squeeze tube which makes it easy to dispense the perfect amount. Squeeze a small amount the size of a pea or smaller onto your finger and rub it in your hands and massage the hair cream into the ends of your hair either while it’s wet or dry.
This moisturizes the hair without weighing it down like a lot of other conditioners can do. This is especially good for those of you with fine hair. This nourishes the ends of your hair which can help your prevent spit ends, especially if you have long hair or are trying to grow your hair out.

Where to Buy: Sephora

Advantages

  • One tube last a very long time.
  • Hydrates and nourishes without weighing down hair.
  • Great for thin or fine hair.
  • Protects against split ends.

Disadvantages

  • A little on the expensive side. It retails for $26.00 USD at both Ulta and Sephora.

The only down side to this product is the price. However, because it lasts so long it is well worth it in the long run. I love the way it hydrates the ends of my hair without leaving it feeling oily or heavy. Give it a try and let me know what you think. As always stay happy and healthy!!!

**Please note: the tube I am holding up is the one I purchased in Paris. At Sephora and Ulta the product comes in a blue and white container and is listed as “Phyto 9 Daily Ultra Nourishing Botanical Crème for Ultra Dry Hair”. There is also a Phyto 7 and one for color treated hair as well all for $26.00 USD.

They are two separate products. Phyto is a cream and thick where the Morracan is, well, an oil. That said I use a dime size drop of the Phyto and tiny drop of the Morracan Oil mix them together and apply. I’ve used both separately but together, I’m so pleased. The oil gives my hair that healthy, tangle free shine and the Phyto gives my hair bounce and fullness.

Marlena I’m in desperate need of your help. I had posted a comment and I know your very busy but when you get a chance please take it into consideration you ate my guru!!!!!!

Can you please do a tutorial on some gluten free beauty products? I have Celiacs disease and have to avoid gluten in and on my body and finding the right products for my crazy sensitive skin isnt always easy.

There is a bath store based in Flagstaff AZ. I do not work for them but I love their products. Many are 100% organic and 100% vegan. Try fizzbathshop.com maybe it will have what you need.

I LOVE this cream! I’ve been using it for a few years when my hairdresser suggested it to me after yelling at me for not using any leave in when using my flat iron(opps!).I have thick wavy hair & it works better than any other leave in I have ever used. A tube lasts me awhile. Def worth the price! Just had to share my enthusiasm for this product! Thanks for all of your great reviews & tutorials!

I went out and bought the Phyto 9 hair creme today. I’m excited to hear what other products you are using, Marlena! Your hair looks great!

Bought it, LOOOOVE it!!! I noticed that you do change up your hair color and clearly use hot irons, so I told myself, if her hair looks that great, I’ll try it. I washed and conditioned ( Herbal Essence for long hair) towel dried till damp ( its too hot too blow dry!), and applied the pea size amount to my long, sorta fine hair and let it air dry. O.M.G. I love Nicole Sherzinger hair, this is as close as Ive ever seen my hair look this good with no styling at all. Thank you over and over.
