This week was inspired by MAC Cosmetices new ‘Peacocky’ collection.  Marlena had given the MUG Staff the challenge of making fun dramatic looks to share with you!  We were told to ” Go Crazy” .  So that I did.  :)

Katrena

The look I created for Katrena was more so inspired by the shape of the Peacocks eyes than the colors of the feathers. I still tried to keep the color essence, with a matte green shadow and a reflects teal, creating an iridescent look.

    When I was putting this look together all I knew was what colors I wanted to use for her eyes, but I wasn’t sure how I wanted to arrange them.  It wasn’t until she sat down in front of me that I was able to design a more muted version of the vibrant peacock feather to give her enitre look a retro feel.

    This would be my version of the peacock as a whole.  Beautiful, flashy, and absolutely fabulous!  With this look I wanted to go over the top!  From the eyes to the outfit, I didn’t want to skimp on the ultra dramatics.  A special thanks to Fantasy Attic for the costume!
