ive always heard that when you do a bold lip you should mute the eyecolor and vice versa…this is most likely a night look…i guess my question is when is it appropriate to make exceptions to the rule?

I LOVE buxom lipgloss by bare minerals and the shade “Vanessa” looks a lot like the one in this picture.
For the eyes I would use Nehru (It looks black on me, not dark blue) on the outer lids/outer v…with silver ring on the rest of the lid…on the inner v I use a lighter shade of silver that came with a Lancome quad I bought years ago….
