I am just a woman who fell in love with makeup.
I don't know how it happened, literally I woke up one day and decided that I was going to learn everything about makeup. I called up my good friend and begged her to let me "play" with her makeup. The first day went terribly wrong, and from that day I wanted to get better. I wish I had pictures so that you could laugh.
Almost every other night I practice a new look, sometimes it's wonderful and sometimes not so much. I ask my husband what he thinks about the looks, but you know how that conservation goes. So I need FEEDBACK!!!! Tell me what I am doing right, wrong, or almost there. I am going to post some of my fave looks, including looks that are inspired by birds, flowers, even a flame from a candle. I just want to perfect my craft and have the time of my life.
dear Lee!
I am in the same boat as you! I am having the time of my life w makeup and have discovered what an artistic release it is! i made many financially expensive mistakes w purchases until I figured out how to make up my particular type of eye. there really are so many techniques! i realized what type of sheen to put on my eye , where to put the matte colors, what colors look best on my skin tone. also the brushes are of utmost importance!
my purchases are much more well thought out now than say they were even one month ago!
i love what you are doing! and i especially loved the colorful eye you did in your last look. with your skin tone, you can be very creative because colors look great on your skin. colors that blend in to your tone could become very neutral. rock those colors you love!
