I’m glad to hear you are now better ! And this is a great look—can you provide some nyx/low end eyeshadow alternatives ?

oh and I’d love to see some tutorials this year on: golden globes/grammys/ oscars and good drugstore products ?

You look beautiful. Welcome back. You look amazing and stunning. I would like to see your whole face/skin regimen from start to finish in future and celebrity look like Kim Kardasian.

I keep seeing you list benefit’s primer…is this primer good for oily skin? I think you have oily skin but I can’t remember. I am looking for a good primer for super oily skin.

By the way…you look beautiful and I am so glad you are recovering well! Keep doing what you are doing because we all love you….you are just that wonderful!!!!

I payed homage to this look today with NYX, loose pearl in nude on my lid, highlight and skin on my brow, and mermaid green in my crease, eggplant smudged on the lower lid. it was close. Not perfect, but close. :)

As a photographer, I really appreciate the improved composition and value as portraits of your pictures. However, as a makeup geek wannabe, I find them less helpful. I love your site, visit often! I only mean this as a observation as it pertains to me (and maybe people like me). I am not as makeup savvy as some, and at the age of 26 have only recently began wearing more than chap stick. I found previous up-close photos of only the eye (closed more than open) helpful for me figuring out how the colors and look were put together. I also thought they were helpful for the videos. Again, I like the more portrait type photos so I can see how it would look more true to life, but personally I found the extreme close ups of your masterpieces helpful as well and do miss them.

I know tone can be lost in text, so I hope that this is not taken wrong. Again, I love this site, and I think Marlena is very sweet. I am SO HAPPY for you Marlena. You have had so many changes over this past year or so, and on top of everything you have really grown the sight. This website has helped me find confidence I never guessed I had, and I am so grateful. Thanks for everything you do!!!

What a sweet and flirty Irish look! I love it! And isn’t NARS lip/gloss awesome? I have this too, and the blush. Anything pink makes me smile!! Thank you for often mentioning the glitter eyeliner by NYX. I bought a bunch and they are so pretty! Exactly what I was looking for as I model for a woman who designs fairy crowns, so lots of unique looks and glitter are required! :) I hope you are doing well and continuing on a smooth recovery. You look well and happy!! :)

Love all your looks! You are amazing at what you do, honestly. Can you ever do a tutorial on how to figure out what color blushes to wear with your eyeshadows? And should you match your lip color to your blush? Just a suggestion, thanks!

    Hi,

I follow your videos regularly and you really inspire me.
I have a question though, please do not take it in a wrong way….but have you done any work on your face?
In these photos you look a lot like Nina Mercedez.

hey she is beautiful and so are you :) )
