Katy Perry has only ben in the spotlight for a few years now. In such little time she has had a major impact on the Fashion and Cosmo world. She is such a risk taker but remains cute and sweet! So this weeks weekly challenge is going to be Katy Perry inspired. Have fun MUG’s and be creative!
Here’s the scoop on this challenge:
-Challenge begins Monday, January 23rd and ends Friday, February 3rd at midnight EST
::EDIT:: We realize there have been issues posting photos and want to ensure everyone who wants to has the opportunity to enter. Therefore, we are extending the cut-off for submissions to midnight EST on Sunday, February 5th.
-Create a look inspired by Katy Perry
-Post photos of your look here in the forum
-Only 1 look per person, and the work must be your own
-Winner will be announced Monday, February 6th
-Prize will be the fun Stila Lip Glaze Set
-Two winners chosen: 1 for best look, and 1 at random, so everyone has a chance to win!
-This challenge is open to anyone of any age and from any country.Makeup inspired by the music video “E.T” – hope you guys like it !

Remember, if you submit your reply and CAN NOT see your photos, then neither can we. Outside links pasted directly into the text box (especially those from Facebook and similar sites) generally do not work. If you can’t see your actual photo on the screen after submitting, please Edit your entry and try again. There are 2 ways to post photos on the forums- one directly from your computer (upload an image) and one from an outside host like Flickr or Photobucket (apply image).

So so so happy when I found out that the challenge was Katy Perry, I went to her concert in fall of last year and I did my makeup to replicate her look from “E.T.”.
Awesome theme! Fortunately for me, my friends and I had a celebrity themed New Year party! I did my friend’s makeup to be Katy Perry for the event! Hope you all enjoy, it’s a fun aqua colored eye, bright cheeks, and pink lips!

My very first entry EVER to a makeup geek challenge
So my look was inspired by Katy Perry’s various colorful looks in “California Gurls”
Mostly purple with hints of pink and baby blue on the inner corner. And some blue on the upper and lower lashlines as well as the water-line. Sorry for the poor quality :O but hope you like ^___^
