does anyone know of a product that will actually help to get rid of the dark under eye circles I have…I have tried concealer, but I would like to find something that might actually help to change it permently…not just mask it.

Lots of rest and water. That’s it. There’s no real “miracle” product out there to magically make them disappear for good.

I think it can be caused by genetics too–not just lack of sleep. Some people just have dark circles naturally, there’s nothing that can be done. In some cases it can be caused by a medical condition like iron-deficiency (anemia). In that situation medical intervention can decrease the appearance of circles over time.

I’m a genetic dark circle sufferer and it’s so frustrating that nothing actually covers them up. About the best coverage I have had recently was with Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. But my circles are really dark. I always drink loads of water and sleep a lot too.

i have dark circles as well.   i dont get much sleep from working (i try though) im very careful with the pressure i put on my eye area since the skin is thin. i use potatoes in half moons under my eyes. potatoes have what some may call a “natural bleaching” agent. i dont know how to explain it but my mother has had me doing it for a few yrs while in highschool. i had severe dark circles from staying up late studying and it worked.  im older now but some times i forget to do it but there is a difference if u do it for about an hour each night before you rest. afterward i rinse my face, moisturize and sleep. im not a foundation wearer. i lightly conceal under my eyes and this is a big reason why i dont have to wear a ton of product now that ive gotten older. my mother has always had tons of home remedies when i need them. hope this helps if you choose to try :)
